The schoolhouse from the early 1900s on beautiful Midjås.

Enjoy the natural beauty around this historic place. Beautiful little cottage from the early 1900s, My great-aunt and grandfather went to a village school here before it was moved, Midjås is a small village on top of a mountain in Tokke municipality. In the immediate vicinity there is magnificent nature, many hiking opportunities, many kinds of animals and activities. It is also a few kilometers down to Dalen city center, Telemark Canal and Vest Telemark Museum. Skulestøga is located about 12 minutes from Dalen city center. Welcome! The space The schoolhouse has a kitchenette and bedroom in one, with 3 beds. In the barn there is also a cozy living room with a fireplace. There is an outdoor toilet in the shed outside. There is also a cozy patio with barbecue and seating area. Upstairs in the main house of the Midjås family there is a toilet and shower with its own entrance. And washing machine if needed. Up on the hill there is the possibility for picking berries and hiking. This is a place where you can relax and enjoy nature! Please note that bed linen is not included. If you do not have bed linen, you can rent it for NOK 120 per stay. Other things to note There is an extra charge for pets! And remember the dog leash requirement from April 1 to August 20.
