The off street parking and close proximity to the action is a luxury during this festival! Don't miss the International Motor Racing Research Center in Watkins Glen. Watkins Glen International is less than 5 miles away. We strive to make your visit special. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment including three porches and a patio. Other things to note The Finger Lakes area has so much to offer. Throughout the region you will find dining options from food trucks to gourmet fare and everything in between. Besides all of the wineries; wine trails and breweries that the area is known for you will find numerous other activities ranging from sailplane rides; horseback riding; swimming; boating and so much more. There are a number of museums in the area. The Corning Museum of Glass; Glenn H. Curtis Museum; Finger Lakes Boating Museum; Harriet Tubman Home; Museum of the Earth and National Soaring Museum are just a few of the wonderful and varied museums. You will find many hiking trails and an abundance of waterfalls. Swim under the waterfall at Robert H. Treman State Park. Watkins Glen State Park; Taughannock Falls State Park and Buttermilk Falls State Park are also packed with waterfalls and hiking trails. Watkins Glen State Park offers an Olympic sized swimming pool with diving board, kiddie pool and snack bar. Finger Lakes National Park is a short distance away and offers hiking trails. Smaller village and town parks offer a variety of activities and settings. Clute Park in Watkins Glen has a swimming beach on Seneca Lake; picnic areas; grills, a snack bar in the summer and ice skating in the winter. Sonnenberg Gardens; Cornell Botanic Garden; Eileen Collins Observatory; The Fuertes Observatory (Cornell University) and Hatrung-Boothroyd Observatory are all a short distance away. Required language per the Village Watkins Glen Zoning Law regarding STR's (short-term rentals): Good Neighbor Statement: a) The STR is in a residential area in the Village and renters should be conscious of the residents in neighboring homes; b) Renters must comply with the Noise Ordinance of the Village of Watkins Glen of as set forth in Local Law #1 of 2014; c) Renters will be subject to New York Penal Law or any successor statute; d) Littering is illegal; and e) Indoor and/or outdoor fires must be attended at all times Permit # STR-157-24
