Cozy 1st-Floor Bedroom w/ Private Bathroom

Enjoy our modern, cozy guest bedroom and bathroom located on the 1st floor of our townhome. The room is ideally set up for a business traveler looking for a short stay, but it can also accommodate up to two people looking to use this as a home base to explore. Please note that we are at least an hour drive from many other popular destinations, such as San Francisco, Monterey, Napa, Point Reyes, and Santa Cruz. The space Private bed and bath on the 1st floor of our townhome. Shared access to entryway and front door entrance. No access to kitchen or laundry facilities.* Our home is located in a residential community surrounded by other townhome-style condos in very close proximity. This means that you may hear children playing outside. Please keep in mind that the private room (and shared entryway) does not boast a ton of natural light .. UNLESS, of course, you open the shutters completely. You may park anywhere in the street. The front door is a shared entrance and you may see us pass through the entryway occasionally. You will have access to high-speed WiFi. Cell service can be spotty, so we recommend all calls be made via WiFi. We do own a device that helps to improve 4G LTE coverage but it works for those with T-Mobile only. We have a tankless water heater which means it will take just a minute or two for the hot water to reach the shower. :) Amenities include but are not limited to — a small workspace, mini fridge, microwave, television and a small fan. Guest access As a guest, you will have access to the entire 1st floor (private bedroom, private bathroom, shared entryway). Your private bedroom includes: • A queen-sized mattress (medium-firm) • A Nest thermostat • A Samsung TV with access to Netflix, Disney+, Hulu and Prime Video • An Amazon Echo Dot (Alexa-enabled) • A small workspace setup • A luggage rack, iron/small ironing board, small fan and closet hangers The shared entryway includes: • A mini fridge for your use only • A microwave for your use only • Trash and recycling receptacles for your use only **Please note that there is no coffee maker or kettle on the 1st floor. If you are a coffee drinker, we'd be happy to share ours with you but ask that you let us know in advance.** During your stay We generally keep to ourselves but can be easily reached through the Airbnb app — or if we happen to cross paths in the entryway. Other things to note Children play in the road so drive slowly through the neighborhood. We live in this home so you may hear us walking around upstairs or cooking in the kitchen. However we try to be extra mindful of our own foot traffic and noise level from above your space especially during quiet hours. No shoes in the house. SECURITY CAMERAS: • We own a Ring doorbell camera. • Our neighbor (directly across from us .. approximately 10 feet from our doorstep) also owns both a Ring doorbell camera and a windowsill security camera that is angled toward our front door / patio area. PLEASE ALSO NOTE: We both work from home. However with that said, guest privacy will be respected and interaction will only occur as needed or requested. We are a short drive from major grocery stores, retail shopping and many wonderful restaurants.
