The "Chain" Reaction Retreat

Welcome to the serenity of the Chain O' Lakes in Waupaca. The retreat is nestled amongst towering pine trees across the street from Taylor Lake, the beginning of 22 interlocking lakes. A short walk (.2 mi) to the boat landing and you'll find yourself in your watercraft. Check with me for a boat rental including a personal Captain to show your party the majestic waters. Relax in the courtyard style patio, or enjoy beverage in O'Bryan's Backyard Bar! Free firewood for the firepit outside! The space The Chain Reaction Retreat caters to just about anyone, whether it be a couple, family of four, or a bachelorette/bachelor party. It is located between Otter and Taylor Lakes by the primary boat landing, and is across the street from the water. There are many hosting areas throughout the property. This includes the main living room, the downstairs with wet bar, and the back patio which has a year-round Gazebo Style bar (O'Bryan's Pub) with lots of windows to let in the light. ***Please consult with Host concerning your pet prior to booking. *** O'BRYANS PUB: Built in 2018, we transformed the mother-in-law suite into a bar heated by a pellet stove and other amenities such as a 55 inch HD Samsung TV with full access to apps and sports programs. 100 year old barnwood creates an accent wall, providing for a true Wisconsin feel. The WIFI password will be provided upon booking. Wood and pellets are free and you can burn as much as you would like during your stay. The pellet stove works as easy as pushing an off and on button. INSIDE: There is access to one bedroom on the main floor with a full size bed that can sleep two people. There is a charming modern bathroom next door to the room that has a walk-in "rain style" shower, heated floors, and a whirlpool bathtub. There are three couches, including a large sectional, and an air mattress. This would accommodate 4 people total with the spare bedroom. There is also access to the basement that has a large sectional with a wet bar, mini fridge, laundry room, and half bathroom. The sectional area can easily sleep one so please advise if there is a third member to your party. TV's: All TVs in the house are Smart Samsung 4k HDTV with access to all apps and you tube TV. The downstairs TV is smart via Roku. OUTSIDE: The home sits on .71 acre lot that you will have access to. Woods align the backyard that connect to another lake providing for an intimate and private setting. The space includes a large firepit with court yard style outdoor lighting hanging between the home and garage for ambiance. There is a remote for the lights that can be dimmed and on a timer. BOAT LAUNCH: The main boat landing for the Chain on Taylor Lake is walking distance. One can easily drop their water recreational vehicle off at the landing and park back at the house without issue. This avoids long walks in between docking as this landing gets extremely busy in summer where people park miles away. Not to mention you avoid the launch fee altogether. Guest access Upon booking, Guests will be provided a combination code to the back entry way of the house that has an electronic entry with the code. Other things to note 'Chain Reaction' is teaming up with a talented singer/songwriter and good friend for an intimate acoustic experience. Sing along with friends and family to classics from the Eagles, Mellencamp, Springsteen, Eagles etc. to current favorites, all while the campfire gleams into the night's sky. Perfect for those warm hazy summer nights or crisp fall evenings underneath the stars. Just when you thought your evening couldn't get a more Peaceful, Easy, Feeling, think again.
