Kitty Hawk Bay Hideaway

Colington Harbour may be an unheard of destination for Outer Banks newcomers, but with a little exploring and self-guided investigation, OBX visitors will discover a world of scenic views, charming waterfront homes, spectacular sunsets, and friendly folks. We live on a quiet street within walking distance of Kitty Hawk Bay and the amazing view of Colington Harbour with a soundside park. And the ocean is only a short 4 miles away. The space Kitty Hawk Bay Hideaway is an upstairs Master Suite with a private entrance and full private bath. We offer a microwave, a coffee maker, and a small refrigerator. We have a garden tub and extra large shower. In the suite, you will find a table and two chairs , puzzles, books, and cards. We also have bedside phone chargers for your convenience. Beach towels and chairs are available in the room. If you need a beach umbrella, just ask us and we will put it out for you. ***This space is not suitable for children under 18.*** Guest access Upon arriving, you will go up the first set of stairs to the host's deck and then bear right to go up the next flight of stairs to your own private deck overlooking the wooded back yard. We will give you a code for entrance, and the entire suite and bath are yours to enjoy for your stay. You might pass us sitting on the swing as you head up or down from your "Hideaway,"but that's ok. We will enjoy seeing you and hope that you will enjoy your getaway in our Hideaway. Checkout is at 10 am. We would appreciate your letting us know when you have departed. And we surely hope you enjoy your stay. During your stay We are available, if you need us, between 6 am and 10 pm. If there is an emergency, please knock loudly on the front door. Other things to note While we love animals, we cannot accommodate them in this space. While we don't personally smoke, we are not opposed to your smoking outside on your private deck where we have placed an ash tray for your convenience. We are onsite and available to assist with any issues that might arise during your stay. We want you to enjoy this place and this space, so don't hesitate to let us know how we can help. Having said that, we will honor your privacy. Upon departure, please leave bed linens on the bed. You may place used towels in the hamper provided in the bathroom.
