And it's one of the venues where notorious mobster Bugsy Siegel once housed his "girls." History lives here! The space Rent my beautiful little (620 square feet) house nestled in the woods of Lake Arrowhead. It has cathedral ceilings and dormer windows of painted glass, two decks that jut out into the woods, a full kitchen, a wood burning fireplace, a terraced garden and a peaceful romantic quality that's perfect for birthdays, anniversaries and weekend getaways. From the back deck you can hear the stream that runs at the bottom of the hill. SLEEPING AREAS Fully furnished, with one bedroom with its queen sized bed and a pull out sofa bed in the living room that sleeps one. Though we have no TV we do have a TV monitor and lots of DVDs as well as a CD player. We have a Verizon Wireless Hotspot card which provides fast wireless Internet throughout the house. I am a five minute drive from the village of Lake Arrowhead though because the neighbors are few it feels as if the house is secluded indeed. Rekindle your romance, play in the snow with your sunshine-drenched children, go antiquing with your friends, retreat with your coworkers, hike with a friend or just hang out by yourself and cleanse your mind. Lake Arrowhead is a perfect get-away. It's a place to go to be alone and finish that novel you've been working on or to be together to rekindle your romance. Kid friendly, it's an hour and a half out of LA and minutes away from cross country and downhill skiing, sledding, snowman building and ice skating in the winter and swimming, boating, (if you have the boat) picnicking, hiking, exploring etc. in the summer. Though Lake Arrowhead is a private lake, Lake Gregory is mere minutes away with its public beaches and water park for kids. The fall finds the leaves are a stunning riot of color. You can shop for antiques and mosey around any time of the year. In the village there are a wide variety of restaurants, rustic gift and home shops, upscale outlet stores, a little kiddie-land type area with rides for the little ones, a children's museum, a video game palace, a pilates studio and the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. Guest access The whole place is yours. Other things to note Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and as such, only homes that are situated in the Arrowhead Woods neighborhood are given lake passes. This cabin does not have lake rights. A new rule states that owners (pass holders) must accompany everyone who uses the lake pass. Thus I cannot leave my renters my lake passes to use. Though if we plan it first, I can meet you with my pass. Lake Gregory is mere minutes away and is a lovely public beach with a water park for kids. It's actually more fun.
