Description

Cosy and bright, pretty home in the village of Mylor Bridge. Lovely location close to Mylor Harbour and Restronguet Creek with the famous thatched 13th Century Pandora Inn within walking distance. Close to Falmouth and Truro. Ample off-road parking for cars and small boat trailer. Private and quiet garden with visiting birds and use of the summer house. The village has its own shop, butcher, fresh fish shop, post office, doctors surgery and The Lemon Arms pub. The space My home is available for the summer holiday period and you will have the whole place to yourselves. There is heating and a wood burning stove for chilly evenings and the first set of logs is provided. There is a bathroom with shower downstairs and a shower room upstairs. You will have the use of the garden and summerhouse. Please note there is a wildlife pond with a safety grill. It is a 5-minute walk down to Mylor quay where you can get onto the water or go crabbing. It is very central for travelling around Cornwall. The local seafood restaurants in Flushing and Falmouth are within easy reach and the local pubs, The Lemon and The Pandora are very welcoming. At Mylor Yacht Harbour there are two waterside restaurants, a cafe and chandlery along with two sailing schools, and Mylor Yacht Club for visiting sailors. 2023 Falmouth is the host port for the Tall Ships Race, leaving port on 18th August., with preceding parades during the week. Falmouth, with its golden sandy beaches of Gyllingvase and Swanpool, waterside shops and galleries, along with the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle, is well worth a visit. The cathedral city of Truro is just 20 minutes away and has a fantastic range of shops. There are excellent supermarkets in both Falmouth/Penryn and Truro. Cornwall has a plethora of National Trust properties and gardens, the closest of which are Trelissick and Glendurgan. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are both just 40 minutes away. Hop aboard the King Harry Ferry at Feock and cross the waters to visit St Mawes and the breathtaking landscape of The Roseland Peninsula. The Bissoe Cycle trail is close by where you can hire a bike and cycle the route from east to west Cornwall. So many more things to mention but not enough space!
