Welcome to our farmhouse located on an East Tennessee plateau. During the day you will enjoy rolling hills; at night soak in an official "dark sky" view of the galaxy. The house provides a homey experience, leaving you rested and just plain happy! Everything you need to feel at home is here: pots/ pans, cooking spices, fire pit, piano. Twenty-five minutes from Brushy Mountain, 10 minutes from hiking, 20 from Frozen Head...zero minutes from a gorgeous view! Come rest/enjoy! The space From the front porch you can catch breathtaking morning sunrises and spectacular sunsets...all without leaving the property. Our kitchen is stocked with almost every cooking items you would need on your trip, including some spices, oils and seasonings - located in the right cabinet next to the stove. Rooms are comfortable and clean. All guest pillows have an anti-allergy pillow wrap for your peace of mind. Guest access You have access to all the bedrooms, kitchen, four sitting areas and an acre of yard on which to run, play, relax. Other things to note Here are just a few activities near the farm: Lily Bluff, the Obed River, Frozen Head State Park, Oak Ridge, Deer Lodge, Knoxville (an hour from here). We are around 70-90 minutes from the Knoxville airport - depends on traffic. Bring your own rod and reel for fishing. Small mouth bass are here for the taking. For musicians, we have an upright piano that is just dying to be played! We have some music at the house, but bring your own and enjoy. If you want to use the fire pit, we can provide some wood for you (let me know in advance), but feel free to bring a pack from Lowe's or Home Depot as back-up. We also have a propane grill - again, let us know and we can arrange to have the propane filled for an additional cost.
