Old Oak Loft

Newly renovated (2018) above garage loft with its own private entrance via a spiral staircase. Large deck w/ outdoor seating, bathroom & small kitchenette w/ microwave/mini fridge/keurig (NO stove/oven). Above garage loft is attached to our main house via a staircase w/ locked door. We are 90min to Yosemite entrance GATE, 135min to Valley Floor *depending on traffic: summer = busier. Peak hour park reservations may be required. 35 min. to Pinecrest Lake & Dodge Ski. 7 min. to Black Oak Casino The space The Loft is a 500 sq. ft. studio w/ open floor plan which includes: king size bed, queen pullout sofa bed; a bathroom w/ shower, hairdryer and clothes steamer; a living area with SmartTV including Netflix and Amazon Prime access (log into your own account), Xbox which we use to play DVDs & movie selection, also a few board games/decks of cards; a kitchenette with table/chairs, microwave & toaster, Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, bar sink (There are NO cooking appliances like oven/stovetop, just a microwave & toaster). The 430 square foot outdoor patio has outdoor seating that accommodates 4 guests. In case you have limited cell reception in our area we do have wifi for you to use so you can receive texts and can turn on your phones Wi-fi Calling to send/receive calls. I also have a highchair & porta-crib that I can make available to you upon request. Just let me know when you book and I will have it in the Loft for you before you arrive. I keep a small selection of childrens books & toys in the loft too. Guest access Guests have their own set of keys for the Loft that are located in the lockbox. They may come and go as they please. I hope you are able to enjoy the large patio off of the Loft during your stay, the views in the morning & evening are beautiful! No unregistered guests are allowed on property. The below patio & pool area is off limits to guests. Guests park directly in front of the main house garage and the sidewalk leading to the spiral staircase entrance is along the right side of house. (if you download the airbnb app we have a picture guided check in) Other things to note The front entrance is a shorter than usual sliding door so PLEASE watch your head when entering & exiting! The ceilings are slanted on the bathroom & kitchenette side of room so again watch your head when needed. The door down to the main house is always locked, enter and exit through the private sliding door/spiral staircase. Rolling clothes rack dining table and coffee table can be moved as needed during your stay, PLEASE do not move the sofa, King bed or green hutch to avoid damage and scratching floors. Absolutely NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND ON PROPERTY this includes vaping - inside or outside anywhere on property! Please make a reservation else where if you are needing to smoke during your stay. There is a small kitchenette area (similar to hotel set ups). Besides a microwave and toaster there is no cooking inside loft (ie..no stove top or oven) If you would like our local restaurant recommendations check out our guide or just ask!
