Nestled in the middle of 10 acres in a small-town Alabama. We call our property "Hammock's Rest!" With special touches in decor & amenities, our space is designed to allow you to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere inside of our home. You can work, rest or play here! Snuggle up on our comfy couch, roast a marshmallow in the firepit or find your way to one of the hammocks on the property. Convenient to a local grocery store. Less than 30 min to Downtown Birmingham&less than an hour to Smith Lake. The space Our home and property are great for enjoying time together. In 1994, we renovated an old farm house, and we've built our life and family here. We've updated throughout the years, but we've always wanted to maintain that old farmhouse feel. The kitchen has an island and sitting area and is stocked with everything you need to cook at home. The indoor dining area is perfect for six people, and the large family room is ideal for movie night! We also have a beautiful outdoor patio right off the kitchen with a dining table that sits under a pergola and canopy lights. The master bedroom has a comfy king bed, lounging chairs, and a large attached bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, double vanity, and double shower. The second master bedroom has a queen bed, reading chair, and workstation. The attached large bathroom features a dressing table, jacuzzi tub and shower. We love our land! You can dine outside on one of two outdoor patios, start a fire in the fire pit and roast a marshmallow (provided) or go relax in one of the hammocks on the property! Our downstairs living room has a large sliding glass door that looks out to our bird feeders. It could be a great place for you to sit and sip your morning coffee. Guest access Parking in our driveway gives easy access to our home. Both master bedrooms are upstairs. There is a bedroom with a private bathroom on the main floor. We do have a strict NO PETS policy. This is our personal home, and we have relatives who are very allergic to all furry friends. Please honor this policy! Other things to note Our home and property are great for gathering and events. However, this is our personal home, and we believe the atmosphere here is our greatest asset.
