Relax as a small family or couples at this peaceful place to stay. Close to York, the coast or even the bright lights of Leeds. Come and be part of our welcoming village for a weekend or maybe a week. No 4 is our sister cottage to the neighbouring newly renovated No3. The space No 4 is a cosy house on a terrace of four in this quaint village. It provides a bright, comfortable place to stay. The house has been tastefully decorated and is comfortably furnished. High quality crisp white linens welcome you to a king size and two single beds. There is ample hanging and storage space. The top floor bedroom has a desk for remote working. There are great views out towards the river and across the village rooftops. There are plenty of white fluffy towels in the bright, airy bathroom which comprises of a generous walk in shower. The lounge gets the morning sun. A great place to read a newspaper from the Pickled Postie round the corner. In the evening, why not light the wood burner and have a cosy night in. A dining room table pulls out to accommodate four people. There’s Sky and then wi-if is throughout the house. The kitchen is equipped with all of the essentials for a full meal. There is ample storage space for any provisions that you have brought with you. If you need to do any washing during your stay there is a washing machine and outside line together with an iron and ironing board. We welcome guests with small dogs. We have a dog bed (bring your own bedding), spare bowls and an outside tap, buckets and towels if your needs a bit of a freshen up. We are also well equipped for little ones with a high chair, travel cot, baby bath and stair gates so you don’t have to worry about lugging all that extra equipment. There is a small quiet seating area outside with a table and chairs. There is also access to the out house where you will find additional equipment. Bikes can be stored in here securely. Guest access You will have the full house to yourself. Other things to note No 4 is a strictly non-smoking property
