Welcome to our cottage! This is a modern cottage with all the amenities for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Our property sits on 5 acres and is bordered by 50,000 acres of the Manistee National Forest. It’s quiet and remote, but centralized to many popular Northern Michigan destinations. Relax around the fire in the evening, and explore all this incredible area has to offer! The space The cottage is a modern cottage with all the amenities for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Our property sits on 5 acres and is bordered by thousands of acres of the Manistee National Forest. It’s quiet and remote, but centralized to many popular Northern Michigan destinations. The cottage itself is an open design with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and one bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin over a full sized bed. Wi-Fi and smart TV available AC window unit, seasonally Enjoy our backyard using our charcoal grill, patio, and beautiful fire pit. Head to the beach town of Manistee for the famous Lake Michigan beaches, shopping, dining, and the Little River Casino. Caberfae and Crystal Mountain for skiing and golfing. The well known Big M trail for mountain biking, hiking, and cross country skiing. The Manistee forest has endless miles of snowmobile and ORV trails. Tippy dam and other great fishing holes are near by so you can fish to your hearts content, or simply float down the Manistee River. We are just over a hour from Sleeping Bear dunes, and Traverse City. The possibilities are endless! We are excited to host your next adventure.
