Kingfisher- River side Hut & Hot Tub

Kingfisher enjoys a riverside setting located directly on the Coleridge Way, nestled in a valley between The Quantocks AONB and Exmoor National Park, Kingfishers & Otters reside on the river. Ideally suited to guests who like nature, the countryside and walking, there are no nightclubs. The West Somerset Heritage Steam Railway can be seen from the hut and is accesible. Kingfisher is located privately screened in our large garden surrounded by farmland and countryside. We welcome friendly guests The space Ideally suited for guests who like the great outdoors, animals, nature ,countryside and exploring on foot or by car ,It is a rural setting so expect animal noises and muddy puddles in wet weather.The hut was hand built in Somerset from traditional materials, Oak structure and Sheeps wool insulation. Although traditional in essence it is built to a very high standard of workmanship. There is electric heating so you will be nice and warm all year without the need to light the log burner. Netflix and Amazon Prime available FOC on the Smart TV. The hut has everything a modern house has including such things as USB sockets, induction hob, combination microwave oven, under counter fridge, electric shower, hot water, flushing toilet etc. etc. No Stinking composting toilets or shared shower blocks here. The Hot Tub is now available all year due to popular demand. This is reflected in our prices due to electricity costs. The hut is self catering, we don’t supply charcoal, wood or food to keep the costs down, electricity is free of charge. EV charging is available in Williton 1 mile away. Guest access Kingfisher has its own private riverside garden to the front with decking area, rocking bench, dining set and BBQ. Shared driveway with a dedicated parking space for one car. Other things to note Kingfisher is accessed by a narrow farm track (The Coleridge Way) with gates, that leads to our property. If you have a vehicle that is cherished you may choose to park in the village car park (Free) and access on foot, approximately 250 metres away. Electric vehicles can be charged in Williton 1 mile away. The Hot tub is available all year round due to popular demand. As we are surrounded by Farmland there will be noises associated with the countryside, Sheep, Cattle, Pheasants, Tractors and our own pets including Ducks, Chickens, Cockerels and Goats. Due to the rural location Wellington Boots or Waterproof Walking boots are highly recommended in the winter or wet weather.
