Description

Are you looking for a place to host friends in stunning country sleeping in pods for a weekend break in Sussex, gathering around a campfire, cooking a bbq. Very romantic. Rent 1-10 pods £110 per pod per night or 11-13 pods+ Mongolian Yurt £100 per night. You would have site to yourselves. Our 2 large Yurts an optional extra, perfect entertainment space if bad weather-£350 each for WEEKEND. Music not allowed. How many pods & yurts would you like? Cubicled hot showers compost loos. OPEN MAY-SEPT The space Please note the price on this listing is for one pod for one night. We are a 2 night minimum site. Let me know how many pods and if you would like a Mongolian Yurt and I will send you a special offer. Each timber and canvas pod is about 4 meters wide with plenty of height - no stooping and perfect for a couple in a proper double bed. If you want extra people, we put down 2 very comfortable (Vango 10) self inflating mattresses. Each pod can sleep a maximum of 4 people. Please note we have comfortable double mattresses with mattress protectors, duvets ( new this year) pillows and throws, but NOT DUVET COVERS, SHEETS, PILLOW CASES AND TOWELS. There are cushions and rugs and solar powered fairy lights, camp chairs and stools. Campfires. We are off grid with gas canisters for heating the showers and then we have bbqs and braziers and there is a washing up area and solar powered lights and fairy lights. If you want one or both of our Mongolian Yurts these are kitted out with sofas, rugs, trestle tables and benches and you also get one of our huge cool boxes. We have very good compost loos, newly built and showers powered by gas. Please note the site has no electricity as we are off grid. If you were to take 11 pods + and at least one of the Mongolian Yurts we can guarantee the site to yourselves for the weekend. During your stay We have a camp-site manager or you can get in touch with Louisa. Other things to note WHAT TO BRING: For your double beds, bring duvet cover, double sheet, pillow cases. For single Vango self inflating mattresses: bring sleeping bags, pillow cases and blankets if particularly cold. Towels, Torch Slip on shoes for going in and out of pods and yurts and Wellington boots if weather is wet. All cooking and bbq utensils. Matches and firelighters Ice for cool box We can sell you logs, kindling and charcoal. Mobile phone charge banks If you are planning on partying then that is fine, with banter around the fires, but we do not allow music at this site as would not want to disturb local people or other guests. We do have a Camp Manager who is around who can help you with anything needed. Smoking in the yurts and pods is not allowed. Please keep dogs on leads at all times, so they do not wander off or chase pheasants or deer and obviously clear up after them. Please do not take the soft furnishings outside as they can get muddy. The short track leading up to the meadow is a track rather than a smooth drive. Mobile signal at the site is mostly fine. Remember we are off grid so all lighting and heating of water is solar and gas canisters. You can drink the water. All rubbish is to be taken away.
