Peaceful & Spacious Garden Cabin with En-Suite

A bright and beautiful cabin room opposite our house that has its own private entrance, parking and en-suite shower room. Set in the peaceful countryside, 6 minutes drive from the nearest town (Barnstaple), this spot is perfectly placed for exploring the stunning North Devon beaches as well as the rolling hills of Exmoor. The space This spacious room includes a comfortable king size bed, storage for clothes, a television and a seating area for enjoying lazy breakfasts or getting some work done. There are hot drinks facilities, a mini fridge, a toaster and a microwave – and you'll receive a little welcome hamper on arrival to help you get settled. We also offer a small continental breakfast. I take all your dishes daily to wash and return to your cupboards. You can find a selection of board games and books to keep you entertained in the quiet moments. The private WiFi is reliable and high speed. There is a small private bathroom, consisting of a toilet, wash basin and shower. The shower works just fine and is always hot, but it isn’t a power shower. Fresh towels, toiletries and a hair dryer are available. The room looks out onto a field on one side and our garden on the other, which you are welcome to enjoy. You may come across our friendly golden retriever, Monty and our cat, Puss – who both love meeting our guests! There are curtains at all windows so you have your privacy. We will provide a welcome pack including must-see areas, award-winning beaches, breath-taking walks, cycle paths, spas and eateries. The area: Goodleigh is a quaint village, about 3 miles (6 mins drive) from Barnstaple, which is the nearest town. There is a fantastic local pub just 5 minutes walk down the hill, which boasts some of the best reviews around! Just 25 minutes drive from the coastline, you can find the stunning beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Woolacombe and Putsborough – some of which are great for surf. In the other direction, we have Exmoor, Lynton and Lynmouth, Clovelly and Westward Ho! All a short drive away – just to name a few. We are sadly not on a bus route, so your own transport essential. To take a taxi from here to Barnstaple is around a £15 taxi fair. Guest access The room has its own private entrance – with free parking just across the road. A car is a must since we're not on a bus route. During your stay We look forward to welcoming you! Myself and Richard will be available should you need anything during your stay, to include sharing advice on the local area. We can set up a text channel when you arrive, if that's helpful! Other things to note There is a 2 night minimum booking. Check in is 3pm, check out is 11am. If you would like a hot meal, then please let us know a week before you arrive and we can provide a delicious homecooked dinner for a small charge. The cabin sleeps two people. However, if you have a baby or a young child joining you, please get in touch and we may be able to help.
