The Cottage at the Roost, SRQ Ranch Paradise

The Cottage is a ranch paradise nestled in a large hammock of oak and maple trees, while located off of a well known street. In the heart of Sarasota, it's less than 10 miles to our top 10 world-famous beaches, St. Armand's Circle, & the home (and museum) of Circus legend John Ringling. Six miles north is the brand new UTC mall, with tons of shops and restaurants in the area. If local is more your speed, head over to J.R's Packinghouse Cafe with food and local musicians. The space You will have access to the entire cottage- a 3/2 with a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and HUGE TVs in every bedroom as well as the living room! This cottage was outfitted with guests in mind; the kitchen is stocked with essentials & more, and the bedrooms are comfortable and cozy. There is a beautiful pool attached to the main part of the home just across the ranch, that guests are invited to use (specific pool hours and rules apply). Take a stroll to the back of the ranch to check out the quaint chicken coop that houses many a hen and a duck, too! Drink your coffee on the front porch and the outdoor dining table, and start a fire around the wood fire pit or the gas-burning fire pit on the deck in the evenings after the sun goes down. This cottage is exactly what you are looking for in a relaxed, laid back vacation home! Guest access The entire cottage is yours, in addition to limited (but generous) use of the pool, viewing of the chicken coop, and general ranch areas. Other things to note The pool is SHARED with the ranch- you are welcome to use it, but keep in mind that others (the family who owns the ranch) may be using it at the same time :) Don't worry, they're very friendly! Things we provide to make your stay more comfortable: -King size beds in all three bedrooms -Beach chairs, loungers, a cooler, an umbrella, & beach towels for your visit to our world-famous beaches! -Salon quality shampoo in both bathrooms -Cooking essentials- olive oil, salt & pepper, and some coffee to get you started! -A Gas Grill on the patio with propane provided. If you need to refill, we'll reimburse you! -A wood fire pit near the driveway with chairs to relax in as well as gas fire pit on the patio -A hair dryer in each bathroom -2 Adult bikes and 1 child's bike -High chair & pack and play for your little one -Cable TV and Netflix
