Our house is located in the countryside of Tabor, SD. Room 2 has has a beautiful view of Lewis & Clark Lake and has a comfy twin sized bed. To access our house you will need to drive about 3 miles on a gravel road. There is a lake access area about 3 miles away for boating, picnicking, and swimming. If traveling here in winter months, all wheel drive car is highly recommend. This room is perfect for the solo traveler or business travel and longer term stays. The space Big house overlooking Lewis and Clark lake! Private room and shared bathroom, access to main fridge/freezer and kitchen. Guest access Upon arrival you will come in through our main house. You will have access to our living room, guest bathroom and outside deck which are all shared areas with us and other guests. You may use the kitchen if you book a long term stay, otherwise we ask that you do not use the kitchen if it’s only a weekend stay. This room is preferably booked out to our long term guests, if your looking for a shorter term stay that includes breakfast, check out our listing for room 1! Room 2 is a smaller private room for 1 person that has access to the main shared living areas and the private room. During your stay We very much enjoy meeting new people and socializing if you’d like but we respect your privacy as well! We will be around to help with any guidance and tips if wanted! Other things to note IMPORTANT: DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS!!!!! After you book please follow the directions I provide you because you will end up in the wrong spot about 15 miles away if you follow the GPS. Apple Maps will sometimes work but please refer to my directions. GRAVEL ROAD: We live in the country!!! Your car may get a little dirty due to taking a gravel road. We do have a concrete pad that you can park on in front of the house. If you don’t like a country setting or driving on gravel please do not book this B&B and then give us a poor location review. We live about 25 minutes to the closest big town so please don’t be surprised when you get here and are in the middle of the country. WE OWN ANIMALS: We have a dog named Chia and a cat named Forest that both live in the house. They both are very friendly but may be shy or bark when they first meet people. If you don’t like animals or have a severe allergy to animals then please do not book this Airbnb.
