Our house is singular, imprint of conviviality and joie de vivre, and we are delighted to be able to share it with you. Every element of decoration, from books to paintings to local furniture and objects, tells a story. Passionate about the Perche and the old stones, we are looking forward to sharing our favorites and secret addresses. We are committed to ensuring that our home is your home for a few days and that your stay remains an unforgettable moment. In a quiet and green environment, conducive to rest and healing, the Clos de la Fuie is composed of two houses combined: one dating from the 17th and the other from the middle of the 19th century. The original materials have been preserved and all the rooms have been renovated, combining old-world charm and modern comforts. The discreet building on the village square side offers a pretty south-facing facade. But what makes this place truly unique is its splendid garden of 2,500 m2, a real haven of peace where the tranquility and beauty of the surrounding nature reign. As soon as you enter the house, your gaze is drawn to the outside where every nook and cranny reveals a new surprise, between flower gardens, orchard, chicken coop and stilt cabin. Want to know more? Our friendly living room, with a wood-burning stove, is the perfect place for evenings for families or groups of friends. Our carefully equipped dining kitchen invites you to share gourmet moments in a relaxed atmosphere. You'll also enjoy our games room with its arsenal of games and piano, and our well-stocked libraries. Our 165 m2 house can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 spacious bedrooms + 2 babies (over 20 m2 each), offering an ideal space for families or groups of friends. You will also find a first aid kit, a maintenance kit including laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, dish soap and a multi-surface cleaner, as well as a grocery kit with oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar, so you can start your stay with peace of mind. You will find a crib umbrella, two high chairs, a booster, a pot, a toilet reducer, a baby bathtub, a sunbed, a wake mat, dishes and cutlery suitable for infants and children, as well as a bottle warmer and a blender to prepare delicious homemade meals for your toddlers. In addition, we provide a selection of toys suitable for infants to entertain them during your stay. Your four-legged companion is part of your family, which is why clean and well-educated animals are welcome at Le Clos de la Fuie! Our Petite Cité de Caractère® has only 230 inhabitants, but its merchants and artists make La Perrière a lively and welcoming village. You will discover Elodie and Vincent who prepare in their grocery store a delicious regressive roast chicken with potatoes on Saturday noon (remember to book!). Sarah and Edouard, our organic bakers, will delight you with their farm breads as well as their delicious chocolate breads, perfect for breakfast or snacks. And if you prefer to relax without cooking, you will have the choice between a cafe known for its fresh and local dishes and its vegan offer, a brewery/wine bar, and two restaurants including the renowned Maison d 'Horbé. Other things to note Le Clos de la Fuie is our family home. Our personal belongings are there, but you'll find plenty of room in closets and dressers for your clothes. Please note there is no bedroom on the ground floor. Our neighbor takes care of our chickens that are at the bottom of the orchard. He can also, at our request, take care of our garden by watering the plants. His visits are always discreet. Regarding toddlers, a few points to be aware of: the living room stove, the staircase leading upstairs and that of our outbuilding. Non-smoking house for everyone's well-being. Ashtrays are available on a windowsill. We accept your small, clean and well-behaved dog. The back yard is full fenced. However, we ask you to bring its basket, bowls and towels to wipe off its paws.
