Adorable 1930 Adobe in Quiet Neighborhood (T or C)

Welcome to Truth or Consequences, a beautiful art, nature and adventure-filled oasis in southwestern New Mexico! You will feel at home the minute you walk through the door of my 1930's adobe house on end of cul-de-sac/BLM land. This sweet casita is a quiet space located only 1.5 mile from the Hot Springs Historic district Downtown and Rio Grande River. It offers a great base to travel to many interesting places. Sleeps two with additional queen futon and beanbag convertible beds. The space This casita is WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE in both front and back doors. It is comfortably suited for two. With one master bedroom and bath, a queen size futon and a CordaRoy convertible giant foam chair to bed floor futon. Bathrooms: Two toilets, one shower. Kitchen: Full size stocked kitchen (except there is no microwave) to prepare or enjoy meals. In addition to full size over/stove – mini–Convection Retro oven, toaster, broil) I use it for defrosting. Instapot, SodaStream, Nutribullet, French Press, Cuisinart Chop/ Grind, Retro red kitchen table and chairs. Amenities: Washer/dryer Wifi Mini Grill A/c House Water Filtration System (purified, filtered water in every faucet including outdoor hoses.) Excellent heating and cooling system, and ceiling fans in most rooms. Washer Dryer. NO TV. WIFI is available for streaming on your own devices. Perfect for reading and relaxation. Driveway and Street parking. Yard: In the mornings, take a seat on the deck and enjoy a gorgeous sunrise view over Turtleback Mountain, or the golden sun as it shines upon our majestic mountain. A gazebo with tables and chairs adorned by a purple lighted tumbleweed chandelier! On chilly nights warm you and your loved ones up sitting around the chimenea. Deck and backyard face the east Turtleback Mountain for exquisite sunrise (and sometimes moonrise!) Small fully fenced backyard that is private. Parking: driveway with room for 1-4 cars and on-street parking in front of the house. Neighborhood: Friendly neighbors. On end of cul-de-sac. Guest access You have private access to the entire house, front, and back yards. You also have access to the driveway. Other things to note There is a Walmart in town (a short drive) as well a local supermarket (Bullocks) in the Hot Springs District. Major grocery stores and shops are just one hour south in Las Cruces. Self check-in * Small NON-shedding Dogs only. We have a small doggy door that leads to fenced in deck and backyard. Guest access All except outdoor back barn. Other things to note There is a wheel-chair ramp for both front and back entrances.
