- CLEAN, WELL MAINTAINED APT - LEGAL AIRBNB RENTAL - ELEVATOR - NEW LG WASHER/DRYER - NEW QUIET A/C - LUGGAGE STORAGE - NATURAL LIGHT - HI-SPEED WIFI - CABLE/ DVD PLAYER - NEAR 3 SUBWAY LINES & MANY RESTAURANTS/SHOPPING The space DESCRIPTION Bright, air-conditioned studio in an historic loft building in SoHo. Compact “pied-a-terre” thoughtfully designed for a couple, which can easily accommodate guests in the fold-out double-sized bed. Lots of light from large windows, and easy access to 3 subway lines one block away. STUDIO The studio has nine foot ceilings, hardwood floors, white walls and simple, contemporary furnishings. As you arrive on the 6th floor either by elevator or stairs, you will be in a small lobby that accommodates two apartments. Entering the studio you will be in a short hall with ample closets. The living/dining space has a view onto Crosby and Prince Streets, and the three large loft windows facing west let in streams of light all day. 101 Crosby Street is fully sprinkled, with an entrance to the fire escape from 6B. The fully-equipped kitchen includes an electric stove and oven, refrigerator with a freezer, microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker. If you want to stay in and cook, you’ll find a full set of pots and pans, cutlery and china. You can order groceries to be delivered from nearby markets, or order in from the many local restaurants that offer fine or casual dining with numerous choices of cuisine. The bathroom is wheel chair accessible and has a tub with a shower. There is a small ironing board and an iron, a hair dryer and cleaning supplies. The sleeping alcove includes a double bed. You always find fresh towels and linens for four people, and blankets for the bed as well as for the fold-out, double-bed sofa. You can enjoy the 32” flat screen, cable TV and a DVD player whether you’re in the living room or in bed. Free WiFi for internet access and cable TV. There is a separate storage closet with a lock in he 6th floor lobby for suitcases or extra belongings, and a commercial clothes washer and dryer in the basement. Entry doors are code locked for easy tenant access. NEIGHBORHOOD SoHo is a famous shopping area know for its designer stores, unique artisan wares, and the distinctive architecture of gentrified cast iron loft buildings dating from the 1800’s. Its cobble-stoned streets are steps away from the New Museum, art galleries, bars, restaurants, night life, movies, gyms, playgrounds and churches. From our historic loft it’s an easy walk to Tribeca, Little Italy, The Bowery, the East Village, the West Village, and Chinatown. You can easily find your way to Washington Square Park, the Farmer’s Market at Union Square, or jazz clubs on Bleecker Street. A short taxi, bus, or subway ride to the south is the World Trade Center, Wall Street, the South Street Seaport and Battery Park. The local subway can take you to Path trains to New Jersey, as well as to scenic rides on river ferries that take you to hip Hoboken and Red Hook, and pastoral Staten Island. And don’t miss the chance to visit the historic islands in New York Harbor: Governor’s Island, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty. Heading north, the subway will take you in no time to Grand Central Station, the theater district and Times Square, Midtown and Rockefeller Center, and end of Central Park. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION Subway trains are a block away from 101 Crosby St. They are: the B and the D, and the M and the F, at Broadway/Lafayette St, the N and R on Prince St., and #(email hidden)ORAGE Cleaning tools, iron, ironing board and stepstool are hanging from hooks in the hanging closet in the entrance hallway. Also in that closet, are two 6” leaves to expand the wooden table. A full-length mirror hangs on the inside of the clothes closet doors. Above those closets, is a closet for extra storage. The linen closet is across from the bathroom in the entrance hallway. The sixth floor lobby has two locked closets for 6B use only. The left is for the cleaning person and the right is for tenant use and is especially useful for storing suitcases. A key for the outside closet, as well as the elevator keys, hang inside, at the front door. LAUNDRY ROOM There is a washer and dryer in the basement. Remember to take laundry detergent and the elevator key. AN IDEA FOR BUSINESSES “The Crosby” three doors down, as well as the, “Mondrian SoHo”, are both new “A List” hotels on Crosby St. An idea for corporations might be to rent 6B, at 101 Crosby, to use as a platform when hosting guests visiting from out of town.
