Watch sun set over Palisades. Patio overlooks Riverview Park across street. Access to Old Croton Aqueduct Trail for walking, biking, skiing. 10 minute walk to train station, village shops, art galleries, restaurants, town pool, tennis, basketball courts, rental kayaks, parks, Historic Hudson Valley sites. This is a newly built space by a designer who studied with Josef Albers at Yale in the 50s. Tastefully furnished & filled with art, books, board games. WiFi available. Cozy bedroom. Sparkling clean. Quiet. Dedicated entrance. A great place to enjoy all to yourself or for entertaining a small group of friends. The studio is open, airy and light-filled. There are two other apartments on the premises. Guests will have exclusive use of the full apartment with a dedicated entrance. Owners occupy another apartment on the property and are available during your stay. Lovely friendly small town neighborhood full of fascinating professionals and many "old-timers" who can tell you about past life in Hastings-on-Hudson. Bikers - both kinds - travel through and stop at our park or Antoinette's coffee house just down the street, Meet neighbors in Riverview Park across the street. Walk down to Antoinette's (AKA "Town Square") and meet everybody over a cup of excellent coffee and pastries or lunch. This is small town living close to nature with walking/biking/skiing trails, bird-watching, kayaks available for rent on summer weekends, bike share program, check out the award-winning farmer's market Saturday mornings. Walk to Historic Hudson Valley sites and many parks. By train you are only 30 minutes from midtown Manhattan easily accessing all it has to offer, and to the rest of the world - happy to say public transportation can take you to major airports, beaches and all of metro NYC region! Easy parking on street in front of home; close to Broadway, Saw Mill River, Sprainbrook, and Bronx River Pkwys, NY Thruway (Rte 87); btwn Cross Westchester (Rte 287) and Cross County Expwys. Bus stop in front of home services Westchester Cty and NYC. 10 min walk to MTA train station for a lovely 30 min ride along the shores of the Hudson River to NYC Grand Central Terminal). Uber & Lyft available as well as local taxis.
