Perched on a hill above Bodega harbor, this 4-bedroom, 3-bath home has sweeping views of the ocean, bay and (on clear days!) southern coastline all the way to Point Reyes. Enjoy the deck or settle into the hot tub to watch the sunset or count stars. The gourmet kitchen has a Wolf stove and is fully stocked for preparing a simple snack or a gourmet meal. Refreshed and renovated last year, the design and style choices aim to make your stay a relaxing retreat from everyday life. Enjoy sweeping, panoramic views of Bodega harbor and Bodega Head. On clear days, you can see Tomales Point and Point Reyes in the distance. Next door is a protected wetland, where you can see deer and other wildlife. Set off of Highway 1 by a private drive shared with only 1 other home, the mature landscaping will likely make you forget that you are in the heart of Old Town Bodega Bay as you relax in the hot tub while taking in views of the water. The house has 4 bedrooms, including a spacious master suite with a king bed and large en suite bathroom. Two bedrooms have queen beds, and a final bedroom has bunk beds. There are also sleeping bags and an air mattress if the little ones prefer to “camp out.” Choose to sleep in by using the dark-out curtains, or wake up to views of the water from your bedroom. Spread over one level, the house has a perfect gourmet kitchen, breakfast bar and open living room/dining area for celebrations, family gatherings, or quiet meals after a long day exploring. There is also a gas grill if you’d prefer to cook out. The house has central heat, fast WiFi, and a smart TV. Perfect for couples, it is also outfitted for families and children. For our littlest guests, there is a pack & play, baby gate, high chair, and children's dinnerware. Complimentary beach towels and folding chairs are there to use if you visit one of the beautiful local beaches. If you forget something, please help yourself to the complimentary toiletries. Other things to note Renovated in 2022, we hope this home will be a haven and retreat for our guests. Please be aware that this home is not walking distance to the beach because Highway 1 is very busy and has no sidewalks. We know many of you travel from far away to spend time on the coast. Please be aware that we usually cannot accommodate a late check-out because we use professional cleaners and they clean multiple homes in the area.
