Breathtaking Cabin With Hot Tub Overlooking River

Welcome to River's Rest! Situated on 4 private acres and overlooking the Cosumnes River, this cabin has it all! Whether you’re here to check out the festivities at apple hill, or the bustling wine scene in FairPlay, the location is perfect! Head into Tahoe for some snow sports during the day, and return home to a nice Hot Tub or Steam Sauna before letting the river's gentle sounds usher you off to sleep. Additional highlights include pool table, Ping Pong, Hammock, and strong internet. The space River’s Rest has 3 bedrooms with 6 beds total (plus a roll-away cot and a pack-and-play) and 2 full bathrooms. The home also boasts an open floor plan with wide pine flooring and wood panel walls for a true cabin feel. The multiple expansive decks offer additional hangout or dining space overlooking the flowing river below. In the detached garage you will find a ping pong table and an additional full bathroom, and up the stairs is a game room with a pool table. River's Rest is nestled amongst giant granite boulders, reminiscent of parts of Yosemite. There are great outdoor spaces to explore in any season, and the river fun in the summer and fall months is unmatched. Guest access Guests have access to everything except one hall closet and a detached room in the garage that have cleaning supplies and owners storage. Other things to note We are 30 minutes from Apple Hill, 70 minutes from Kirkwood and less than 90 from South Lake Tahoe. There is an amazing winery scene less than 20 minutes away in Fairplay and Amador (think Napa 20 years ago!), or head into downtown Placerville for a peek into history and a great meal. You can also pan for gold right in the river, or grab a fishing pole and try your luck against the local Bass and trout population.
