Exclusive hire of private campsite and event space

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. If you value nature and your own space then this is for you. Home comforts (beds with fitted mattresses, electricity/charging points, fridges, showers, bedding and towels provided) add a level of enjoyment to the camping experience. Your booking provides sole use of the facilities with full privacy (with the hosts being a 5 minute walk away and on hand if you have any questions or requests). Children can enjoy collecting eggs on request. The space The property comprises of the (1) sleeping quarters which are your bell tents, (2) Sheltered kitchen/dinner with an open view, (3) A bar and snug area for evening fun, (4) Toilet block with multiple separate compost toilets, (5) A hot shower unit, (6) Children's play items including a large Wendy house, small play house, swings, slides, carts, table tennis table, (7) Gas BBQ, firepit (8) there are plugs for powering electrics or charging devices and although phone reception is good there is no Wi-fi. Guest access Access to multiple fields owned by the hosts. All facilities described require no sharing with anyone else! Toilets and shower have a small bit of privacy (being located in the adjacent field a very short walk away) Other things to note Please be aware of the following changes to our offering for 2025: - We have now 6 large bell tents to accommodate more guests (although it is still possible for smaller groups to book and this does not affect the exclusive nature of the booking, i.e. It will be your own private campsite still, no sharing ). - We have increased the cleaning fee but reduced the comparative cost for the per person per night fee from £35 in 2024 to £30 in 2025 (per person per night). - This change in pricing is to represent the significant input required in getting the campsite ready for guests but encourages greater lengths of stay (as once you are onsite, we as hosts are on hand but tend to be less involved). The good news is that longer bookings are now cheaper than in 2024! - Over the winter (offseason) we will keep refining the site (as we have done in previous years) increasing the professionalism of the finish without impacting on the nature, vibe and sustainable ethos of the site - Planned improvements include additional free children's play zone setup, patio zone that could double as a dance floor and a solid roof above the outside pool table, and toilet and shower updating (details and photos to follow). - Also new for 2025 will be to offer optional additional services to maximise your enjoyment and/or relaxation for 2025. We will share final details when the optional service offerings (with their associated price) are completed but these could include a Sauna and relax zone - Our accommodation now comfortably camps up to 30 adults (in 6 large bell tents) but has the potential to host more on request either with further accommodation units or additional beds in tents (particularly suitable for bigger ratio of younger children as they can have smaller beds and/or less circulation space in tent required). Any booking above 16 persons will require additional payments of £30 per person per night to be arranged directly with the hosts I hope this comes as good news for 2025 and remember we still offer a 100% refund policy all the way up to a single day before your booking. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Note for guests booking for 2026 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Please be aware that nightly rates are likely to increase from 2025 prices. These would include the additional cost of beds to £40 pppn (from £30 pppn in 2025, but previously £35 pppn in 2024).
