A dog & family friendly, comfortable, lodge set in natural woodland. With fabulous birdsong & true night skies the cabin is a haven for rest and rejuvenation. Board games for family fun. Fast WIFI and Prime for teenagers. Good beaches, adventures, hiking, biking, the Welsh wildlife centre, cardigan castle and more all within 15-35 minutes. Good eateries are within 1 mile if u don’t want to cook! 😃 Parking 4 two cars. Sleeps 7 if required. The space Cabin 78 is a well maintained & presented 3-bedroom’d property that has retained the original Scandinavian wood interior. It is a bit retro and has described by guests as feeling like "home from home" and "a little slice of heaven". It is well equipped and presumes visitors intend to fully self-cater. Our cabin is one of the few with a full sized kitchen, a bath, & a shower, and good unlimited 5g mobile broadband. The cabin is served by an Electric meter. We ensure there is min. £5.00 credit on the meter the day of your arrival. You top this up yourself online. We provide pillows and duvets for all beds. If you would like us to provide your bed linen and towels :- Bed linen packs are an additional £10.00 per bed, and towel packs £2.00 per person. These must be booked and paid for in advance. The cabin is cleaned prior to your arrival by our cabin care team. Complimentary provisions: Kitchen: generous starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar. Cooking oil, and a selection of herbs and spices. Washing up liquid, and dishwasher tables for each booked night. Bathroom: toilet roll x2, bubble bath and shower gel, bath mat. Entertainment: Plentiful board games, books, DVDs and a LG SMART TV. Heat: Modern thermostatically controlled heaters are in all rooms, including the kitchen and bathroom. We also provide heated under blankets for all beds. We regularly use our cabin in winter with sub-zero temperatures and we are toasty warm. Infants: We have a travel cot and high chair in the cabin at no additional cost. Dogs: We welcome up to 2 dogs at no extra cost. If you have more then this message us to discuss. Bedrooms: There are three bedrooms. Two x double beds with access both sides, and one triple with three individual beds. The pictures show all are of a good size. OUTSIDE: The raised deck catches the morning sun, and once leaves have fallen from the trees, and in early Spring, gives lovely views of the hills beyond. At night turn on the twinkling lights, sit and listen to birdsong and watch the bats. ( I love that). It is secured by a gate so dogs and children are safe. On the lower deck is a bench table, and BBQ. Guest access Access is provided via a key safe. Access is from 3.30pm and we ask visitors to vacate before 10.30am Other things to note The Swimming pool: Open from the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend through to the 1 September. There is a seasonal bottle bar .. Opening times will be confirmed before arrival. For children under 10 years there is a play area, and mini golf for all ages. We provide putters and golf balls. We do ask you replace what you loose! :-) If the weather is not super special, the swimming pool in Newcastle Emlyn is worth checking out. (google - Swim Emlyn). I use the pool a lot and find the staff friendly and helpful. Penlan Village itself: The park has approx. 90 independently owned cabins. The park owners have no responsibility for these, nor any guests residing in them. Their sole responsibility is park maintenance, and the management of communal areas like the pool, and bar area when open. Bedlinen and towel costs: These are £10.00 per bed for the bed linen and £2.00 per person for a towel pack
