A family & dog friendly comfortable Scandinavian lodge set in natural woodland in stunning West Wales. Children's Play area? Yes to all. Ample parking for 2 cars👍🏻 The space Cabin 78 is a well maintained & presented 3-bedroom’d lodge. It's size equates to that of a bungalow. That, and its location, sets it apart from other cabins on the holiday park. The original Scandinavian wood interior is retained purposefully. Guests say it feels like "home from home". That is what I hope for - that you feel comfortable and can relax. The lodge has a good sized kitchen which will cope with several adults/children in at the same time, plus four legged friends. It also boasts a full size bathroom with bath, & an electric shower over the bath. Dedicated & reliable EE mobile broadband- 5g with unlimited data is provided. The quality oak Parker Knoll dining table comfortably seats 6 and extends for a larger group if required. Energy supply: The cabin is served by an Electric meter. There is always at least £5.00 credit the day of your arrival. You top this up yourself online. Bedding, bath towels etc: We provide pillows and duvets for all beds. If you require bed linen, bath towels etc the additional cost is £12.00 per double bed & bath towel (s), and £8.00 per single bed with one bath towel. (hand towels, and bath mat and t-towel) are included. Your bedlinen and bath towel pack must be booked with me via the AirBnB Ap. The cabin is cleaned prior to your arrival by our cabin care team. A pre-arrival video is always made. Complimentary provisions: Kitchen: A generous starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar. Cooking oil, and a selection of herbs and spices. Washing up liquid, and dishwasher tables for each booked night. Bathroom: toilet roll x2, bubble bath , bath mat. Entertainment: Plentiful board games, books, DVDs and a LG SMART TV. Heat: Modern thermostatically controlled heaters are in all rooms, including the kitchen and bathroom. We also provide heated under blankets for all beds. We regularly use our cabin in winter with sub-zero temperatures and we are toasty warm. Infants: We have a travel cot and high chair in the cabin at no additional cost. Dogs: We welcome up to 2 dogs at no extra cost. Bedrooms: There are three bedrooms. Two x double beds with access both sides, and one triple with three individual beds. The pictures show all are of a good size. OUTSIDE: The raised deck catches the morning sun, and once leaves have fallen from the trees, and in early Spring, gives lovely views of the hills beyond. At night turn on the twinkling lights, sit and listen to birdsong and watch the bats. ( I love that). It is secured by a gate so dogs and children are safe. On the lower deck is a bench table, and Charcoal BBQ - its little tired but works just fine. Guest access Access is provided via a key safe. Access is from 3pm and we ask visitors to vacate by 10am. Our cabin care team arrives promptly to prepare for the next guest - especially in peak season. Other things to note The Swimming pool: Open 9am - 5pm from the May Spring Bank Holiday Weekend through to the 1 September. There is a seasonal bottle bar - opening times usually Thursday - Sunday in the peak season. It is usually shut Monday - Wednesday. For children under 10 years there is a play area, and mini golf for all ages. We provide putters and golf balls. We do ask you replace what you loose! :-) If the weather is not super special, the swimming pool in Newcastle Emlyn is worth checking out. (google - Swim Emlyn). I use the pool a lot and find the staff friendly and helpful. Penlan Holiday Park itself: The park has approx. 90 independently owned cabins. The park owners have no responsibility for these, nor any guests residing in them. Their sole responsibility is park maintenance, and the management of communal areas like the pool, and bar area when open.
