Our home is situated West of Galway City en route to Connemara and the Aran Islands. We have a regular bus stops outside the house that takes you to Galway city in 10 minutes. Excellent amenities including shops , local pub & restaurant and hotel are 3 minutes walk from the house. Walk the Salthill Promenade( 5 minutes drive) or sample the Culture, Festivals or Nightlife of Galway City. Relax in our comfortable home before you continue your journey to Connemara or along the Atlantic Way. The space Detached home of recently retired couple strategically located to access Galway City, Galway Bay, Connemara, Aran Islands.All you need to access for a comfortable stay with us is within a 5 minute walk of the house. Whether you enjoying walking , traditional Irish Music, Art, Culture or Sports such as Golf , Windsurfing and other water sports, our home is the ideal base. To go to the centre of Galway city from the house you can catch the bus outside the house and be in Galway in 15 minutes approx. Or you can walk in 45 minutes. Finally, by car or taxi takes 10-15 minutes to the heart of the city Guest access Guests will have their own bedroom, toilet and shower facilities. They will be greeted with a warm Irish welcome and can choose to relax in our sun-room on their own or in the company of their hosts. Whilst kitchen access is restricted a good continental breakfast will set you on your way in the morning. As it is our home we expect guests to depart the house each morning by 10.00. This enables guests to travel to visit the many beauty spots around Galway. It also allows the hosts time for themselves during the day. In the evenings after 6 pm you are welcome to return to your room and we are here for your comfort and advice. This distinguishes us from an apartment in which you can stay throughout the day if you wish. With us we offer a personal touch, conversation and local advice to help you make the best of your trip. During your stay We will be delighted to socialise with guests offering advice regarding places to visit and things to do in the area. At the same time we respect that some guests may prefer their own company and we are happy to be there when needed. Other things to note There is nothing in the area that should adversely impact on your stay.
