Staying in one of two beautifully renovated Railway Carriages with private gardens and extensive views over meadows and woodland it offers a perfect spot for walking, cycling, birdwatching, fishing, wild-swimming and quiet relaxation. The River Derwent, C2C route and Derwent Walk are a 5 min walk from the garden gate and the hustle of Newcastle only a short drive by car or easily accessible by a regular bus service. The space Each Railway Carriage has been individually designed. Carriage No.2 has been extended offering a larger kitchen area and bathroom with shower cubicle. Like it's sister Carriage it has glazed double-doors onto its own little garden with breathtaking views and outdoor table & chairs. The internal space is well designed offering an equipped kitchen with cooker/hob and small fridge/freezer, a bathroom with electric airboost shower, a living space with dinning table and double bed with fresh cotton linens. Oil-radiator heating. Guest access Each Carriage is separate and has its own little garden with outdoor table and seating. Other things to note There is a small pond in the garden and 3 wooden steps to each Carriage. The river is at the bottom of the meadow outside the gate of the garden.
