The space Experience authentic charm in this spacious 210 m² (2200 sq ft), three-story apartment located in the historic Schøningbrygga building from 1886. Carefully blending original architectural details with a full modern renovation, this bright and airy home offers the perfect balance of heritage and comfort. Situated in the heart of the picturesque fishing village of Stamsund, you’re just steps away from two grocery stores, a cozy café, a restaurant/bar, the Hurtigruten Coastal Express, art galleries, and no less than three theaters. From the private roof terrace overlooking the harbor, watch fishing boats come and go, or head to the nearby mountains for scenic hikes. Positioned centrally in Lofoten, Stamsund makes an ideal base for day trips both east towards Svolvær and west towards Reine. Leknes airport is only a 15-minute drive away. Free parking is available just 100 meters from the apartment. Newly refurbished in 2022, the interiors blend fresh, contemporary touches with carefully selected vintage finds. The ground floor features three spacious bedrooms, while a loft bedroom offers access to the roof terrace. Note that the loft has partial openness to the living room, so privacy is more limited. Sleeping arrangements include three king-size beds, one custom king-size bed, and two single sofa beds. All beds are dressed with fresh, linens, duvets, and pillows for a restful stay. Guest access You will have exclusive access to the entire apartment and roof terrasse. Other things to note This historic home is nearly 140 years old. While fully renovated to a modern high standard, we have preserved some original details. Please note, the hardwood floors may creak, and some doors might not close as smoothly or quietly as new ones. Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. The apartment is located in a residential neighborhood, so please keep noise to a minimum between 11 PM and 7 AM.
