A serene, comfortable spacious attic room in a lovely grade 2 listed cottage. The house is in walking distance to fields, river, walks in nature etc, yet also has a Co-op round the corner for essentials. The town centre is in walking distance for independent shops, cafes etc. I am a friendly host working full time from home (3 days a week) and also study in the evenings but happy to chat and make recommendations when I'm around. I have travelled a lot and lived in a few different countries. The space The top floor is yours - a large attic room with comfy queen bed, desk, chair, comfortable rocking chair & your own tea/coffee making facilities, ensuite loo & unique half bath/shower under the eaves just outside the bedroom. The cottage has a sunroom, patio garden, and lounge with woodburning stove. Guest access The living spaces are available except for the lounge during the day on weekdays when I'm working from home (usually 3 days per week). There is however a sunroom for relaxing in if the living room is not available. The kitchen is available at any time except for 6-7pm on weekdays. During your stay I live here with my friendly dog Rosie. I work full time (3 days from home) and study in the evenings. I don't have a lot of free time but happy to chat and make recommendations etc when I'm around. Other things to note There is free parking available on the street (it's usually possible to park within a few metres of the cottage). I have a small very friendly dog who will want to befriend you so you probably need to like dogs! (please ask if you want to bring yours - dogs that like other dogs are welcome).
