Artistic Home is a beautifully restored 250-year-old stone house in Koskinou, Rhodes, accommodating up to 6 guests. Once a traditional Greek coffee shop, it now blends historic charm with modern comfort. Featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a rooftop terrace with sea views, it's perfect for a tranquil, artistic retreat. Please be advised that it not suitable for children under 5yrs old. The space Artistic home, is definitely NOT a common accommodation. You will have a unique experience of an atmosphere full of art while at the same time you will have the opportunity to participate in the daily lives of the friendly people of one of the most hospitable traditional villages of Rhodes island. Walking into the small narrow pebble road of the village you are suddenly met with the beautiful red bougainvillea decorating the entrance of the house. This is the sign that you are there! Open the door and enter to an amazing shiny space: you will be impressed by the artistic combination of the traditional elements along with the colors and contemporary touch all highlighted by the natural light all around the house. This two-floor house is stone built, features a salla with a high ceiling and mosaic pebbles - the so-called "chochlaki" - for flooring. Before it was turned into Artistic home, its sheer size and beauty had made it the most popular coffee shop in the entire village of Koskinou, a place where the big crowds were gathering for all kind of social events. At that time it was used for dressing the grooms, as a traditional custom, followed by local wedding folk songs, filling the room with wishes for a prosperous life. Today, it is a house-art studio, renovated with a lot of imagination, love and functionality, ready to accommodate up to 7 people. GROUND FLOOR On the ground floor there is an 80m2 living room with a couch, three arm chairs, large tv, two libraries, desk and a semi-double antique iron bed . The 25m2 kitchen, located next to the living room, is fully equipped with modern appliances and all cooking utensils. One WC, with shower, is situated at the corner. MEZZANINE FLOOR/BALCONY This floor has an inside balcony, featuring two "oda" (sleeping platforms) one on either side, each one of which are able to accomodate two persons. A large bathroom with a bathtub and a washing machine is located across the end of the staircase that leads to this floor. TOP FLOOR Here you will find a breathtaking 70m2 attic featuring seven windows that allow the sun to always be present! A spacious room which is a lovely art studio at the same time and offers privacy. This smartly decorated room with a king size bed with Coco Mat extra comfortable mattress as well as a sitting area, a three-seated couch, flat screen tv and two large work tables often used for art projects. ROOF TERRACE Accessed from the top floor. A place where you can simply enjoy your breakfast and yoga in the mornings, sunbathe or gaze the stunning sunset with the panoramic views, drinking a glass of wine!
