Accommodation with proximity to the sea, Ystad and Malmö

The inherent charm of this house cannot be missed. The perfect location allows you to reach Ystad in 20 minutes, Österlen or Malmö within 40 minutes, add 20 minutes and you are in Copenhagen. The accommodation is best suited for a couple or small group of friends who want to explore the surroundings of beautiful Söderslätt, maybe go a few rounds at Abbekås Golf Club, which is a few minutes away, experience the coastal road by bike (available to borrow) or why not enjoy a picnic on the beautiful beach in Mossbylund. The space This accommodation is self-catering and you bring your own bed linens such as sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers, bath towels and kitchen towels. The house was partially renovated in 2021/2022 with new floors, new kitchen and new bathroom, exposed ceiling beams, repainting and new furniture. There's an open floor plan between the living room, dining area and kitchen. Since it is originally a house from the 19th century, the doorways are not like in modern houses, and for those of you who are taller than 180 cm, make sure to keep an eye on your head. Upstairs, the ceilings are generally low, see text below regarding the upstairs. There is also a room that I call the library where the stove from Husqvarna is located. In this room there are two comfortable armchairs with footstool and a plethora of Swedish books to relax with. The bathroom has a tiled floor with a Moroccan look, a shower corner with glass wall and drapery, toilet, bathroom cabinet with lighting. There are hooks for towels and a cabinet with four drawers. Hairdryer and a flat iron are available as well as electrical outlets. Bathroom mat, and also a mat to put in the shower so water is stopped from coming out on the floor. A window scraper is in the shower to wipe the shower wall after the shower, as the water is very calcareous. The kitchen has a fan, stove, fridge and freezer and sink. There is a kettle, coffee maker, microwave on a bench that has a lower cabinet and two shelves above. In the cabinets, there is everything you need for a nice table setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the dining room, there is a large table with six chairs. There are also two groups of outdoor furniture located on the property where you can look out over the garden and hear the birds sing or see the hares hopping around in the fields outside. The upper floor has two bedrooms and there is only a door into bedroom 2. There was no door to that bedroom when I bought the house. Bedroom 1: Double bed with full mattress 180 x 200 cm Bedroom 2: Two single beds of 80 x 200 cm that can be put together to make a double bed of 160 x 200 cm. NOTE: The ceiling height on the upper floor is about 190 cm. Throughout the house, it is slightly lower in the doorways. NOTE: This is a country house surrounded by fields and meadows, which means that there are spiders, flies, bumblebees, and other insects that can also find their way into the house. It's a secluded rural location and there's no street or road lighting, so if you're afraid of the dark, you should probably choose a different house. Guest access Access to the whole house of 76 sqm and a garden of 750 sqm with lawn, various berry bushes and plum trees. Charcoal grill is available and outdoor furniture that is placed so you can enjoy both morning and evening sun. Around the entire property there is a hedge that provides privacy and protection against the winds of Skåne. There are 3 bicycles and they are good to borrow, a pump is available and one of the bicycles has a basket if you feel like packing a picnic and cycling down to the beach. Other things to note Smoking is strictly prohibited in the house. You are welcome to smoke outdoors but make sure to take care of the cigarette butts, they should be rinsed off, to avoid fire risk, and then thrown in the household waste. No pets allowed. No parties or events. No shoes in the house please.
