Beaches of Boracay Bulabog Beach It's Bulabog Beach on Boracay's east coast which makes Boracay so perfect for Kite Surfing. A constant moderate to strong wind (Amihan) is blowing in during the high season (from November until May) from the east and makes a real pleasure for Kite and Wind surfers alike to enjoy their sport. Some years ago Bulabog Beach was still empty and scuba divers dominated the island until some people found out how perfect the lonely beach was suited for Kite Surfing. It has a very big shallow lagoon with a coral reef outside, which protects the lagoon and the beach against the big waves that break outside the lagoon. Bulabog Beach is easy to reach, since it is located just opposite the famous White Beach, at the other side of the island. Along the Beach several Kite Surfing Centers offer lessons as well as rental of equipment. A 3 day Kite Surfing Course with costs about 15.000 Peso. Our apartments @Ventoso are a perfect location for Kite Surfers, located just a step or two away from the Mango Riders Kite Surfing School in the centre of Bulabog Beach. Our apartments are away from the White Beach crowd, it is peaceful and quiet, and at the same time it is only a few minutes' walk to the main shopping centre of Boracay - D'Mall, and all the entertainment spots that Boracay Island can offer: restaurants, souvenir shops and bars. In Low season (Habigat) Bulabog transforms into a peaceful and tranquil location for a ‘desert island’ feel and an opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas like White Beach. White Beach 4 km long White Beach is Boracay's most popular beach and is located on the West coast. Suitable for swimming and snorkeling. There’s lots of activities on offer along the beach: Scuba Diving, Banana Boat, Para Sailing, Water Ski, Island Hopping, Sailing, Wind Surfing. It’s a hive of activity! Diniwid Beach This quiet and somewhat secluded beach is just 300 meters long and can be reached by a short walk from the northern end of White Beach. Balinghai Beach The Balinghai Beach is the next beach north of and after Diniwid. It is only a small beach that is framed with tropical forest and an ideal hide away. Punta Bunga Beach Punta Bunga Beach is just north of the small Balinghai Beach and about 400m long. Puka Beach Puka Beach covers about half of the northern tip of the island and is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Ilig iligan Beach The Ilig Iligan Beach is located at the northern end of Boracay's east coast and one of our favourites. It is a beautiful empty beach where you might just meet only a very few other tourists on their trip around the island.
