Ideal base for business trips, long weekend breaks or simply to relax in style. The space The Coach House is a private, light and calming dwelling comprising of a south facing bright and spacious studio apartment over a traditional original outbuilding. The property overlooks the owners’ garden at the back and is opposite local tennis club courts which can be conveniently booked by the hour for a small fee. Beyond the tennis courts, visitors can further benefit from well-maintained open parkland and a small children’s play park, ideal for a Sunday morning stroll or picnic. The Coach House also benefits from its own front gate, completely private front door and unrestricted free parking which is easily available in the nearby residential roads. Upstairs accommodates the light and airy studio space which houses a beautiful “loaf” king sized bed, TV, sonos smart speaker and large wardrobe with under drawer storage complete with iron, ironing board and hairdryer. The fully fitted kitchen area space is well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and oven, fridge and washing machine. A small breakfast bar area is ideal for meal-times or, alternatively, can be utilised as a remote working space comfortably housing a laptop. A newly refurbished clean and modern shower room is located downstairs. The property would comfortably suit 2 guests but additional air beds and/or a travel cot can be provided upon request. Other things to note The Coach House is located approximately 5 minutes' drive from Colchester North station which benefits from quick rail access to London within 55 minutes. The property is approximately 10 minutes' drive to the A12 which provides easy travel by car to either London or Ipswich. Colchester is Britain’s oldest town and the property is an ideal base for history lovers. Local attractions include Colchester Castle, the Roman Circus Centre, Hollytrees Museum, Firstsite and Colchester Zoo. The property is also ideally located for anyone wishing to take advantage of beautiful and scenic walking and cycling routes to both the town and surrounding villages which includes the beautiful countryside of the Dedham Vale. The Coach House follows all COVID guidelines to ensure that it is as clean and safe as possible.
