Laurel House

A quiet and private urban oasis, just a 5-minute drive from PDX airport and 10 minutes from downtown Portland. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING ↓: The space This is a 2-unit house. You will be staying in the fully separate lower unit. We, the hosts (2 adults and a kitty), reside in the upstairs apartment, so you may see us outside in passing (or watering the garden), but we generally do our own thing and there is no need to interact if you so wish (But if you want to, we love to meet our guests!) Your indoor space is not shared with other residents of the home and you will be the only guest who will use this accommodation. Your privacy is our priority! There is one marked off-street parking space and plenty of street parking. There is a large yard (90% enclosed) for guest use with several shaded sitting areas, outdoor dining area, propane BBQ, propane fire pit, and seasonal fruit and veggies that guests are welcome to pick! Please supervise children and remember to pick up after dogs. Inside, there are 2 main bedrooms with king beds plus an office with a full bed. 1.5 bathrooms include towels, a hairdryer, and shampoo/conditioner. Kitchen is fully equipped and includes coffee/tea, spices, and cooking oil. Guest full size washer and drier and detergent is located outside the kitchen door. For those traveling with children and infants, guests are provided with a pack and play, changing table, high chair, various infant linens, and children's utensils and dishes. Guest access Guests can access all areas of the property, with the exception of the garage and the unit upstairs. We ask that guests respect our privacy in these areas. Other things to note We love animals But if you are traveling with pets, it is important to note: > There are many neighborhood cats (including our own, Judy), squirrels, raccoons, etc roaming the yard. Keep this in mind for easily excited pets. > The yard is enclosed all around the house except near the driveway, so please supervise your pets. > If there are any accidents indoors, please treat immediately with cleaner under kitchen sink, and notify us so we can deep clean after your stay (no judgement, we know it happens!) :) > Sacajawea Dog Park is at the end of our street and the Howliday Inn doggie daycare is a short walk.
