The apartment is located on the first floor of a well-maintained house. At the entrance, you will encounter a long kitchen where you will find everything—Big Frigidaire, oven, electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, and an Espresso machine. The bathroom has a large bathtub. You are free to dine peacefully at the dining table in the roomy capacious living room or repose yourself on the big L-shaped couch and enjoy binge-watching with a 4K big smart TV. The apartment is well-equipped with multiple air-conditioners, ensuring a refreshing breeze at every turn. One unit hums quietly in the small bedroom, while another in the living room sends a steady stream of cool air directly toward the large bedroom, keeping it pleasantly chilled. In case the summer sun grows particularly insistent, a mobile air-conditioner waits in the large bedroom. The host is attentive and prepared to guide you, set it up within minutes, or personally bring it to life if necessary, ensuring your comfort is never left to chance. You are free to wash and dry your clothes in our common service room that consists of a laundry machine and a dryer, which is good, especially if you are globetrotting or whether you’re on a voyage, and you are planning to have multiple destinations before and after. The living room sofa can serve as a double bed. Sheets, bedding, pillows, and blankets are at your service. As well there is a foldable crib (baby bed) in the bedroom wardrobe. It is always a bonus if you can refresh yourself on the way, right? Guest access The apartment is part of 2 apartments in the house. the guests can access: The left door of the house ( the apartment) The laundry machine and the dryer are in the service room in the entrance hallway. they cannot access the right door (Second apartment). Other things to note The apartment is in the heart of Budapest, in the Palace District (Palotanegyed). Just a few minutes’ walk from the famous Great Synagogue, the Hungarian National Museum, and Budapest’s largest nightlife area, right around the corner. This is one of the city’s most historic yet vibrant neighborhoods, where the streets pulse with energy and the night hums with countless bars and clubs, offering endless entertainment. The most famous ruin bar (romkocsma in Hungarian), Szimpla Kert, is also nearby. Getting around is very convenient. The Astoria metro station is just steps away and connects Metro M2 (red line) and Metro M4 (green line). With M2, you are only 1 stop from Deák Ferenc tér, the city’s most central square, and 2 stops from Kossuth Lajos tér, next to the Parliament. With M4, you can easily reach Gellért Hill, the famous Great Market Hall (Nagyvásárcsarnok), and Szabadság híd (Liberty Bridge). You’ll also enjoy riding the M1 (yellow line) from Deák Ferenc tér, the oldest metro line in continental Europe (opened in 1896), a historical experience in itself. Important things to note! Data collection is MANDATORY by the law for statistical purposes in Hungary for every accomodation and share that information with the Hungarian Tourism Agency. All accommodation providers in Hungary are required to collect information on guest identities before or upon the arrival of each guest. The apartment is on the first floor of a building without an elevator, so in case of accessibility, please note that you'll need to go up 1 floor to enter the apartment. Please do not walk with shoes inside the flat, especially on the carpets near the bed. there is a designated coat rack with shoe storage in front of the fridge in the kitchen. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. There is a smoke detector. Guests who violate this policy may pay up to a 200 Euros penalty, so please smoke outside in the smoking area. There is an Ashtray outside the house near the main door. Please do not smoke inside the apartment or in the entrance hallway. Kindly do so only outside. There are 2 lights in the kitchen, the switch on the wall and under the upper kitchen cabinet to brighten up the kitchen worktop and ease the usage of the kitchen. The entrance hallway which is the common area contains additional services such as a laundry machine, dryer, ironing board, ironing machine, cleaning tools, and cleaning powders, just in case. Please keep the floor and especially the kitchen worktop dry as they're made of genuine wood, and thus, it's sensitive, so kindly use the cutting board and the use the kitchen towels. Please use the cork-made trivets or the metallic ones while cooking to protect the surface from overheating. The apartment is not accessible to handicapped people. Each guest announced in the reservation receives one big-size towel and one mid-size towel, and there is also a bathroom and kitchen towel provided for the whole group for hand cleaning. There is a designated smoking area outside the apartment with an ashtray available for your convenience. The apartment has an 80 liter hot water tank. When several guests shower one after another, the tank may need a little time to heat the next round of hot water, usually around thirty to forty-five minutes.
