The bedrooms are spacious and clean. There is a first floor master bedroom. The first floor has central air conditioning and heat. The second floor has ductless mini splits heating and air conditioning. The farm has lovey places to hike and explore. There is a VCR, but no wifi or satellite. The space 230 + acres of farmland/woods to explore. Wooded trails and stunning views of the sunset and countryside. Deer and Turkey hunting available upon reservation - rates vary during seasons. Guest access Guests have access to the entire farmhouse. They are also welcome to hike and explore around the 230+ acre farm. Guests are asked to stay out of animal pastures. Other things to note Please note: it is an old farmhouse. While we strive to be excellent and maintain a high standard of cleanliness, old farmhouses are not without imperfections. There are little quirks, but that’s what makes it charming. We are always making improvements and are super excited about our recent remodelling, but keep in mind, it is over a hundred and fifty years old. We do treat for insects and mice, but once again, this is an old farmhouse in the country and no matter how hard we try, an occasional mouse does sneak in. We encourage guests to keep their food in an upper cabinet or the refrigerator so they don't attract a mouse. We also encourage guests not to leave doors standing open, as this also can bring in uninvited guests. Country life is amazing and we love living on a farm and do our best to keep nature outside.
