Description
At Wine Country Lavender, set on 21 park-like acres between Branxton & Singleton, you'll have your own two-bedroom retreat, with 2 spacious country rooms, large veranda, stylish bathroom, gorgeous garden & hearty breakfast! Enjoy the tranquillity of the property, sipping wine on the veranda, taking a stroll along the lavender fields, enjoying a picnic/bike-ride, with the convenience of being 10 minutes outside town and 25 minutes from Hunter Valley vineyards. The space You will have your own two-bedroom retreat, with full bathroom (with bathtub & shower), tea/coffee facilities, with your own entrance and indoor space, including two very spacious bedrooms (each with comfortable queen beds, garden views, a futon, T.V & DVD player), a small fridge and microwave, as well as indoor and outdoor tables and chairs. Breakfast is included every morning (kindly notify us of any dietary requirements when booking). WiFi, books, magazines, DVDs, and games are available. Important: please note there are NO cooking facilities (no kitchen or BBQ facilities; some crockery is provided, and any used cups/plates can be replaced for you). You are welcome to have a picnic and go for a walk around the garden nooks and the lavender fields. Toiletries and towels are provided, and you can also sample some of our beautiful products made on site with lavender essential oil! We do not over-fragrance towels and sheets, to avoid using artificial fragrancing. If you'd like to bring a pet, please note they must be with owners at ALL TIMES, be on the lead when outdoors, and not jump/sleep on beds and futons. Kindly send us a message when booking with some further details about your pet. A reminder we live in a farming area, with roaming kangaroos and possible neighbour dogs. Kids should be supervised at ALL TIMES, instructed NOT to open closed gates or doors on the farm, and keep a safe distance from operating machinery. Things to do: Ask us for wineries/wine tour recommendations (some can pick you up, and taxis are available too). Macrame classes can be organised on site (notice is required; more details provided upon enquiry), and other classes (e.g. pottery, pasta making etc.) can be recommended in the area. The closest Hunter Valley wineries are about a 25-minute drive away (Hermitage Road - via Singleton), where you will be spoiled for choice when it comes to wine-tasting, cheese-tasting and restaurants and cafes offering local delicacies, live music, markets and more. Ask us about our farm tour, pick your own lavender experience (seasonal), herbal tea tastings, and lavender product or gift boxes (made with our farm-grown lavender) are available for purchase. Singleton town centre is an easy 10-minute drive away, offering cafes, pubs (with courtyards), supermarkets, shops, library, excellent kids play area, parks/heritage/river walks and various other services. Lake St Clair, at the foot of Mount Royal National Park, is half an hour away for swimming, boating, fishing, and water-skiing options. We take very good care of the property and we also respect guests' privacy, so we ask you to do the same and be respectful of areas used, nature, wildlife, private areas and family/ friends/ neighbours that may be encountered. Please note security cameras are installed around the house and property. Ask us about early check-in/late check-out, short/long stays (enquire via message), picnic platters and dinner options. A picnic set and blanket, as well as two bicycles can be made available. A small indoor desk and an iron/ironing board can be provided if required. Other things to note This accommodation is set on a working farm, so some maintenance or gardening work might be taking place during farm working hours. Guests are required to keep a safe distance from any operating machinery at all times. Pets must be accompanied by their owners at all times (not to be left alone), not sleep/jump on beds and kept on a leash when outdoors. Breakfast is provided as there are NO cooking facilities. There is a small microwave, small fridge, toaster & tea/coffee making facilities but there is NO kitchen (no oven/stove/BBQ). A pub with good food is 8 minutes away and many dining options are about 25 minutes away. The fire pit is only available during non-fire restriction seasons.
