Comfortable quiet cottage in lovely Killin.
Description
Enjoy the beauty of the Highlands from this ideal cottage. Open the front door to the sound of the Falls of Dochart. Spot Wildlife, Climb mountains, Cycle the Glens, Visit the Lochs - Stop, rest and revive yourself. The cottage is a our get-away from the city and the endless 'jobs to do list'. It's our haven where children can play, explore nature and enjoy a greater freedom. You are welcome to have time here and by staying we hope you will find peace and reconnect with all things good. The space It's not a boutique place... it's a home away from home. So you wont find "Live Laugh Love" posters, nor hearts on every surface (although we've put love onto this place), and we have tried to make it an Ikea and Tartan free space. Lot's of items have a story... but then so do we :) Kitchen - Well Stocked for those who want to cook :) Elliot's puffin will watch you at work. Lounge - Comfy with drop leaf antique table to eat at. Chromecast from your devices to the TV (it's NOT a smart TV - cast from your laptop or phone). There is a very special Hare print given by a dear friend plus a 1960's German wall clock. Master Bedroom - Two singles, Wardrobe and Drawers, and some beautiful art work by another friend. Bedroom two has a pull out extra bed... I'd say we are a comfortable 3 adult house and if you were two adults, two children then two kids could squish into the small room. Bathroom with shower with a bit of umph and plenty of loo roll! The garden is... grassy. I'm hoping the old veg patch can become a fruit orchard and have planted three Malus Katy apple trees... enjoy the fruit early autumn :) Other things to note There are 3 single beds, and a fourth trundle bed (on the listing is says floor mattress which is a bit harsh lol). I'd personally say it's suitable for a someone smaller... not a 6ft rugby player... but it depends on your sleeping needs and expectations. There is a travel cot (definitely for tiny tots), night light, monitor and booster seat for those with little ones. we don't provided baby bedding and we don't leave kids toys as we couldn't guarantee safety and cleanliness (sorry). You can bring bikes and lock them in the shed... plus other kit like fishing gear or kayaks (at your own risk although the shed is lockable). Registration details ST00546P
