Laketown Tiny Home with Hot Tub

A chic and cozy tiny home on a rustic acreage in Gimli— a little lake town located in the heart of the Manitoba Interlake! A mere 2 minute drive or 8 minute bike ride will take you to the beach in summer. We designed and built this tiny home ourselves and are thrilled to share it with you! The space The tiny home is located on our home's rustic, yet charming, acreage. The driveway is shared with our home, but the tiny home is in the backyard behind our garages so it feels like its own space. There are several old, tumbledown outbuildings around the yard, lots of trees, plenty of green space for lawn games, and access to a walking trail. Your outdoor patio area will be yours alone to use. But you may see us nearby around the backyard during the day doing lawn care. If there are certain times of day you prefer we don't do lawn care in your space, just let us know! Suitable for 1-2 guests in the upstairs bedroom. Furnished with a queen sized bed, blackout blinds and a TV with Netflix. There is space under the bed for luggage. Ceiling may feel a bit low in the bedroom for someone over 6ft 4in. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, hot plate, water kettle and French press. (No oven, just the hot plate for stovetop cooking) It is stocked with basic dishes, utensils, as well as spices, oil, tea and coffee. The water is well water so we recommend using the water filter provided or bringing bottled water. But the water is perfectly fine for dishes, showering, etc. Occasionally the water may have a slight sulfur smell. The bathroom is a very compact space: equipped with a sink, shower, and composting toilet. The composting toilet is tall but has a stepping stool attached. There is a sitting area with cushioned benches, pillows and throw blankets for you to get cozy. Just outside the tiny home is a small deck with dining chairs, and a table. There is also a barbecue and firepit right nearby. A small amount of firewood is provided. Right beside the deck is a personal two-person hot tub. While the hot tub is inflatable, it is very comfortable and sturdy, not at all like inflatable toys that you'd use in a pool. There may be some neighborhood noise from the highway, surrounding yards and our yard as well. You may see wildlife in the yard. Guest access The Driveway is shared with our property. But the Tiny Home is behind our garages so it feels separate once you're back there. Your deck and hot tub is private and yours alone to use. Other things to note Parties are not permitted. Absolutely no smoking indoors or in the hot tub allowed. Drugs are prohibited. No pets allowed. Additional overnight guests are not allowed. Please be courteous to the space. The cost of damages made can be charged to the guest.
