Fully furnished and appointed apartment will be your home away from home. The bedroom has a king bed, full bath, and a sunny walkout patio overlooking Mount Nittany. The living room sofa can be converted to a full-size pullout bed for additional sleeping space. The custom kitchen has modern full-sized appliances. The space Spend your football, ArtsFest, or other weekend in your private getaway in quiet Centre Hills Village in this newly renovated walk-out basement apartment. Order pizza, pasta, calzones, or subs from The Cove (half a mile away at the bottom of the hill -- they deliver!) and spend Friday night in on the king bed in the large bedroom with a movie or TV show on the large flatscreen TV. Saturday morning, watch the sun rise over Mount Nittany as you sip your fresh-brewed coffee outside at your own patio table. If the morning is chilly, you can take in the same view through the large windows in the walk-out. Later, over breakfast, look out over the Mitchell Farm valley and Lemont and you might see the local fox and her kit against the white snow. Go for a stroll in neighboring Thompson Woods Preserve on the miles of walking trails. On your way to the game, you might stop at Spring Creek Presbyterian Cemetery (less than 2 blocks away) to pay your respects to Joe Pa, or head straight to the Stadium. If you want to avoid the traffic you can walk through the scenic Thomson Woods Preserve and down Walnut Spring Lane to the South Atherton Shuttle on University and Easterly (just over a mile from your door). Whether walking, busing, or driving, your total trip is less than 2.5 miles. After the festivities, return to your private entrance and savor a Nittany Lions victory while preparing a late snack at the breakfast bar in the brand-new custom kitchen and listening to the post-game show on the radio. Sunday morning enjoy your breakfast at the kitchen bar before packing up and jumping onto 322, a quarter mile from the bottom of Squirrel Ave., for your return home. Amenities: Two private entrances with large outdoor patio with table and chairs. Use of main household's outdoor gas grill and picnic coolers available at no extra charge. Just ask. Table, umbrella, and three chairs are provided on patio. If you need more chairs, just ask. Indoor garage parking available upon request. Washer and dryer are shared with upstairs owners; just ask for access. Other things to note We put out a patio table and 3 chairs for your exclusive use in all seasons except winter. Big umbrella table also available; just ask! If you want the table and it's not out on the patio, just ask and we'd be happy to bring it out. In snowy weather, our gently sloping backyard is perfect for sledding. There is also a much larger and steeper sledding hill at the public park at the end of the street. We have a couple of small sleds you are welcome to borrow. Just ask!
