Monadnock, Ridgeview Off-Grid Cabin is the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and reconnect with the outdoors. Please note: There is no shower or hot water, and the cabin is accessed by a short hike from the parking area. R&M#102598 The space The cabin is a small, cozy 118-square-foot space designed for a simple getaway in the woods. Inside, you'll find a set of bunk beds providing a comfortable place to sleep. The cabin is intentionally rustic and compact, giving you a cozy place to relax while still feeling connected to the outdoors. Outside, you'll find a private fire pit where you can sit back, enjoy a fire, and take in the peaceful surroundings. Beyond that, the property is intentionally simple. The cabin is approximately a 5-minute hike from the parking area, with about 60 feet of elevation gain along a natural, wooded trail. The trail is uneven and can be slippery during wet weather, so extra care is recommended. Guests should be prepared to carry their belongings along the trail to the cabin. We've stayed in the cabin ourselves many times and have always enjoyed the opportunity to slow down, disconnect, and "rough it" a little while still having a comfortable place to sleep. Guest access Guests will have private access to the cabin, the fire pit directly outside the cabin, and a separate private bathroom located approximately 40 yards away through the woods. A designated parking space will be provided in the shared parking area. From the parking area, the cabin is approximately a 5-minute hike along a natural, wooded trail with about 60 feet of elevation gain. The trail is uneven and can be slippery during wet weather. The bathroom is located separately from the cabin and is accessed by a relatively flat, informal trail through the woods, with approximately 5 feet of elevation change. Check-in will generally be self-service. Guests should remain within the areas designated for their stay and are asked not to explore other areas of the property unless permission is granted by the host. Other things to note Off-grid experience: Ridgeview is intentionally simple and rustic. There is no shower or hot water, and the private bathroom is located in a separate building approximately 40 yards from the cabin through the woods. Fire pit: You are welcome to use the provided fire pit for cooking and enjoying a fire. Please follow good fire-safety practices and never leave a fire unattended. Please do not use the wood stacked under the cabin for cooking. Leave no trace: Please pack out all trash and help us keep the cabin and surrounding woods clean. We will provide a garbage receptacle near the designated parking area.
