2 BD, 1 BA Cozy Cottage Steps from Lake Michigan

SUMMER FUN AWAITS! Located just 100 yards from the Lake Michigan shoreline and 6 miles from downtown Montague you'll find our cozy, little cottage situated on the backside of a wooded dune. Our cottage offers 2 bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed, 1 bath, a full kitchen, and a living room complete with a smart tv. This wi-fi equipped cottage provides a getaway for those looking to enjoy beach life and amazing sunsets, local wineries, golf, bike, or work remotely in a simple setting. The space Let's be real...our cottage is tiny and simple. At just 500 sq. feet, it's comfortable and cozy but the spaces are tight in the bathroom and around the beds in the bedroom. If you have difficulty with close quarters, this cottage may not be for you. It is, however, a great place to unwind after a fun-filled day outside. Guest access Guests will be able to enjoy the full living spaces of the cottage, the exterior shared space of the 8 acre property (including shuffle board, disc golf, and fire pits) and the large, private Lake Michigan beach. Our beach steps offer a close access to the beach, but please know there are about 100 steps down to the beach. If you prefer an easier beach access, there is a public access 1,000 feet south of our property. We do have a storage loft in the cottage that is not for guest use. Other things to note -Please note: this property is considered beach front property, however there are no lake views from the cottage itself. -We do not have laundry in our cottage, however, laundry is available for use in unit #1, just opposite the fire pit. -There are about 100 steps down to the beach. If you prefer an easier beach access, there is a public access 1,000 feet south of our property. -The beach pictures in our listing were taken in June 2025. The Lake Michigan shoreline can fluctuate from year to year. We will update beach photos once this spring. -Please note that the week of July 4th tends to have more beach traffic. Although our beach is still considered private, our cottage neighbors do invite guests more frequently that week. Before inquiring or booking, please be made aware: -This cottage is small and simple -This cottage is rustic and has some quirks -This cottage is neighboring wooded areas which may bring animals and bugs on to the grounds (ie: mosquitos, deer, etc...) Please respect our neighbors and space. We ask that only registered guests are permitted on the property. This property is best for families or couples as it is small.
