La Maison Varte (Heated pool)

At Maison Varte, you can enjoy the heated pool, well-equipped kitchen, board games, TV and a large space to enjoy your stay, even in more gray weather! 3 bedrooms, 3 beds, 1 bathroom, 2 parking spaces We are 5 minutes from several beaches LGBTQ2S+ friendly :) The space BEDROOMS: There are 3 bedrooms (2 queen beds and a double bed) each with their own wardrobe. We offer you the possibility of renting an EXTRA double AIR MATTRESS (bedding provided) that you can add in the living room. There is an additional fee if you are more than 6 people KITCHEN: It is well equipped; you will find everything you need to cook good meals, just like at home! We also leave several spices, condiments, flour as well as coffee and cereals so you can have breakfast the day after a late arrival at the Islands. LAUNDRY/OFFICE: We have set up a work desk in the laundry room, with an ergonomic computer chair! The laundry room includes washer, dryer, extra blankets and pillows as well as laundry detergent. LIVING ROOM: We have a large sofa, a soundbar, a smart TV (however we only have Netflix, WE DO NOT HAVE CABLE), an old PS3 and some video games, board games and some books to lend you. BATHROOM: The bathroom is spacious and contains everything you need for your comfort (soap, shampoo, towels, washcloths, etc.) SWIMMING POOL: Guests can take advantage of the swimming pool whenever they want! We heat it to 81 degrees Celsius, and it is open from late June to mid-September (as long as the nights do not drop below 10 degrees). On the patio you will find a picnic table so you can eat in the sun! Note that there are 5 steps to access the pool. LAND: We live at the bottom of the land and are rather discreet and respect your privacy! We sometimes make campfires; you are always welcome to join us, if you feel like it! We may receive visits from our loved ones. Since we come from Estrie, we sometimes have friends/family camping on our grounds. Everyone knows we rent the house and is warned to be very discreet. YOUNG CHILDREN: While we do accept young children, please note that the house is far from "childproof"! Let us know if you're traveling with kids, we can see if our house fits your needs! Depending on what you need, we will provide you with: some toys for young children, a foldable playpen for sleeping, a safety gate to block access to the only step in the house, children's dishes and towels! PARKING: We have 2 parking spaces, located at the front of the house. Park perpendicular to the house, in front of the wooden blocks, GENERAL LOCATION: We are located in the center of Fatima, you will be 5 minutes from everything (including several beaches) without suffering the traffic of Cap-aux-Meules! There is a canteen almost opposite the house, the grocery store (IGA) is a 10-minute walk away! Behind the house, there is a trail that goes to a hill from which you have an incredible view of the Islands! For more directions, come see us during your stay, we'll explain where to go to get there! GUESTS: Following some abuse by previous guests, to avoid overflows and irritating our neighborhood, we had to crack down. We found it a real shame to ban guests 100%, so please don't abuse it: We accept that you occasionally have dinners with guests, but no parties. The only people who have the right to sleep at the house and use the shared spaces (the yard, patio, pool) are those on the booking. Guest access You'll have the whole house to yourself! The only common areas are the yard and pool. as we live on site, friends or family may visit us and use the outdoors. Our guests know we rent the house in the summer and are discreet. My parents have a Sprinter-style camper and sometimes sleep on our property. Other things to note We don't have cable. Only a Netflix and Disney+ subscription The house has no sea view. All amenities are listed in the "Show Amenities" section: So if you don't see "air conditioning" listed, it's because we don't have air conditioning, etc. To access the house there are 3 steps. To access the patio and pool, there are 5 steps, without handrail. The house is not optimal for people with reduced mobility or for young children, although all are welcome! We live in our trailer in the backyard. We may have visitors during your stay. My family or friends from outside the Islands may be staying on our property. Dogs are not allowed. No smoking inside house. Please let us know if anything breaks. Guests are not permitted. The pool, yard and patio are shared spaces, please keep the space clean.
