The cottage is footsteps away from a 20' x 40' heated, salt water pool and private blue stone patio and fire pit with a circle of comfy Adirondack chairs for relaxing around the fire. Lot's of Adirondack chairs around the pool too. The pool is adjacent to the main house. Guests have exclusive access to the pool and pool area except for the brief dips in the pool my husband and I take a few times a day when the guests are off the property. Guests are invited and encouraged to enjoy and spend all the time they like in the pool and pool area, and enjoy the many sitting areas, lounge chairs, outdoor dining table and chairs, and pool toys. My husband and I live on the property in the main house, which is adjacent to the pool, and swim laps for 15 minutes or so a few times a day, and then leave the pool to our guests. Other things to note Located just outside of Woodstock, you’ll enjoy both privacy and convenience. Hike nearby trails, explore local art and music scenes, or simply unwind with a glass of wine on the porch. Considering we are an outdoor-oriented place, we do have a liability waiver form we will ask you to sign upon check in. No dogs allowed. No shoes inside. No smoking. No candles. Instead, we provide flameless, battery-operated candles for you to use. Please note that swimming is at your own risk. We do not have a lifeguard on duty. The pool is open from sunrise to sunset, from Memorial Day weekend - October 1.
