Guest suite in Blythewood

We are in the country but conveniently located just 2 miles from I-77 (Exit 27). Come explore the Blythewood and Columbia areas. We are just 20-25 minutes from downtown Columbia. This is a smoke-free property. The space We love our property! You will, too! Come enjoy a little peace and quiet. The coach house is located across the driveway from our home, above the detached garage. There is a flight of 12 stairs, a landing and then another 10 stairs to the coach house entry door. It is a one-bedroom, smoke-free apartment with a full kitchen and a living space with a Murphy bed. Easily sleeps 4 people. It has a large bathroom and an amazing shower! The kitchen has granite countertops and is complete with full size appliances - dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and microwave. There is a washer and dryer behind the barn doors in the kitchen area. Since we have a septic system, only 2 loads are allowed per day. We also have silverware, cups, glasses, plates, pots, pans, toaster, blender, coffee maker, filters, spices and oils. All for your use! The countertop bar has 4 bar stools. The living space has a dining room table and 4 chairs, loveseat, recliner, queen-size Murphy bed and a 50" flat screen smart TV with an antenna and Amazon fire stick. You can stream whatever you'd like by signing into your own account. There's also a sound bar. There is a power outlet with 2 USB outlets next to the dining room table. The private bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan, nightstand with alarm clock, table lamp, full-length mirror, a bookcase, dresser and closet. There are extra ultra soft blankets, pillows and sheets in the closet. There is also a Firescape Emergency Fire Ladder in a marked box on the floor in the closet. The large bathroom is fabulous! The vanity/sink is tucked next to the huge tile shower. There are soft, fluffy towels, plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. If you've forgotten something please check with me and I'll do my best to help. I will be in touch with you 1-2 days before your arrival. I will send you a message via Airbnb. I would appreciate a confirmation reply from you. If I do not hear from you within 24 hours, I will text you using the phone number in your profile. If you will be arriving in more than 1 vehicle, please let us know that in advance. We have space to accommodate a trailer. Again, please let us know that in advance. The following information must be stated because of previous guests' abuse of policies: Proxy bookings are not allowed. The person who will be staying here needs to have an Airbnb account and be making the reservation. Doing a proxy reservation for someone else violates Airbnb's terms of service. We will be on the property during your stay or a good part of the time. Please respect the following: Only those included in your booking are welcome on our property. Do not give out our address or have friends meet you here. For any reason. We do not rent our space for parties or other events. Please respect and understand that our home is just steps away from the coach house where you will be staying. Thank you. Guest access You will have the entire coach house to yourself. The only (possibly) shared spaces would be the pool and gazebo. Our pool is typically open May through September; possibly later depending on the weather. You must be willing to meet with me and our dog if you intend to use our pool because the pool is in the fenced-in backyard where he hangs out. (See picture.) Instructions on entering the pool/fenced in backyard will be given at the time you meet with me and our dog. Swim at your own risk. We also have a gazebo over the pond and you are welcome to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of our property, wildlife, etc.
