Treehouse in East Leroy

The lookout inspired Outpost Treehouse (not actually attached to a tree) sits in a white pine forest in the middle of a 50 acre active farm. The 15 hand crafted windows allow for great views watching out for Michigan wildlife--White tail deer, turkeys, owls, coyote have all been spotted from the elevated wrap around deck. The biggest regret that guests have noted is “we wish we would have stayed longer”! The space The treehouse has all the modern amenities--Air conditioning, furnace, private bath with shower, hot and cold running water. Solar power is used for interior lights. The 14x14 room has a queen size bed, a comfy chair, small table with 2 chairs, buffet cabinet with bar sink, small refrigerator for drinks and coffee maker. To access the bathroom you must go outside and downstairs...there are lights on the staircase for those nightly trips! New kitchen, dining area and half bath now complete. Just a few steps away over walkway from treehouse upper level. Kitchen equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, toaster oven and a two burner cooktop. The sofa becomes a queen bed for the extra guests. You must let me know in advance if you will be using the sofa bed and I will leave bedding out there for you. There is also a propane gas grill outside. A small amount of firewood is provided so you can enjoy an evening by the campfire. We no longer have the glamping tent. There is an extra charge of $15 per person per night after 2 guests. Guest access Relax, watch for wildlife, sit around the camp fire (minimal wood provided) or take a walk through the woods-long pants and closed toed shoes are recommended…it’s the woods-there is poison ivy and poison oak in places. When the weather is wet-boots are recommended. If you must connect to the world, complimentary wifi is available, along with a 32” Roku TV. Other things to note We have a strict NO PETS policy. There is a gunsmith right next door so you may occasionally hear shooting. It is safe to walk around on our property. If you have any concerns you can message us.
