Welcome to Happy Hours at Canyon Lake! This charming Hill Country getaway is located minutes from Canyon Lake (2 mi.) and the Guadalupe River (8 mi.). Surrounded by trees and wildlife, it is the perfect location for families and friends to explore Canyon Lake, the Guadalupe River and the Texas Hill Country. The space Our recently remodeled and newly-furnished home is a classic central Texas cabin with a new twist. It is decorated with a mix of new furnishings, hill country treasures and original art from local craftsmen. It offers a master bedroom with a new memory foam queen bed and a private bath attached. The "bunkroom" can sleep 3-4 with built-in twin beds & a full size bed and opens to the large 2nd bathroom. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed and a bonus sleeping area in the loft for the kids or the "young at heart". Living space includes a smart TV with Roku so you can enjoy your Netflix or Hulu account, a DVD player and free WiFi. Open and spacious kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and includes seating for 6 around the table. Off the kitchen is a coffee station with Kuerig and regular coffee maker and washer and dryer. Relax with a drink or enjoy a meal on the huge front deck shaded by native Texas oaks or grill on the back deck and watch the sunset. Outdoors you will love playing yard games among the shady oaks, feeding the deer in the yard, sitting around the campfire at night looking at the stars or the fireflies that visit us in May. Also available for your use... we have stocked the shed with chairs, floats and ice chests to take to the lake, a quick 5 minute drive from the house! W.O.R.D. Permit # L1488 Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, 1.3 acres and shed. One closet in master is reserved for owners. Other things to note While we can comfortably sleep 6, we allow up to 7 individuals maximum. Please include all children in your guest count and in your message provide ages of children. Infants under 2 count toward the total. We are on an aerobic septic system. Nothing but toilet paper can be flushed. We have specific information about the system in our house manual. Outdoor campfires are permitted only when the Comal County Burn Ban is not in effect. Winter Texans welcome! Longer stays are available in the off-season. Contact us for more information and pricing.
