It is the original part of the whole building and believed to date from the 1840’s. It retains many original features and is tastefully furnished to a high standard. The space Accommodation is on two levels with entrance hall, kitchen/dining area, sitting room with wood burning stove and characterful bathroom with basin, WC and bath. On the first floor are two bedrooms-single and king-size beds. The accommodation is heated by modern electric night storage and panel radiators. Guest access Keepers Cottage has its own entrance and an area of private garden with picnic bench and views across Dunalastair Water to the hills beyond. Other things to note Being very old, the cottage has lower than average doorways and a 5ft bath (with hand held shower) which you may wish to consider if you are very tall.
