Tucked between Cherry orchards and settled in the quiet idyll of rural bliss, you will create memories with family and friends that will last a lifetime. Enjoy expansive views from every window, and keep your eyes open for our wildlife friends, turkeys, deer, and swifts, to name a few. On clear nights, the stars are truly spectacular; it is common to see the milky way. This self-catering cottage is a utopia of thrifted treasures, that come together to create an inviting eclectic atmosphere. The space This historic home was built in 1912 by the Carroll's and was one of the early homes and apple orchards in Mosier. I live on the property, my home is the first house you see when you arrive at the driveway, the Airbnb is the 2nd white cottage. Depending on the season of your visit you will be able to enjoy cherry picking, fresh eggs, farm flowers, and grapes. Everything is farmed using organic and regenerative practices. The Airbnb is located: 1 mile in either direction from u-pick cherries and peaches 1.5 miles from Analemma Wines. Biodynamic and estate grown 1.7 miles from Idiots Grace Winery. Organic and estate grown 2 miles from town and the local coffee shop, restaurants and corner market. 4 miles from Rowena Crest hike and nature preserve 7 miles from Hood River 11 miles from White Salmon, WA 17 miles from The Dalles 31 miles from Cooper Spur Mountain Resort 43 miles from Mt. Hood Meadows 68 miles from the Portland Airport Guest access Guests are welcome to visit say hi to the sheep, and explore the wildflower meadow. I usually have some spaces cleared and ready for picnics. There is a beautiful loop perfect for walking right from the property. 1. Walk down the driveway 2. Turn left onto Carroll Rd. Stay on Carroll until you get to Behrens Rd 3. Turn left onto Behrens, stay on Behrens until you reach Dry Creek. 4. Turn left onto Dry Creek, stay on Dry Creek until you get to Carroll 5. Turn left on Carroll and walk back to the farm. Please don’t enter the outbuildings The big, red barn can be rented out for an additional fee. Fee is subject to how you want to use the barn. A dinner party with the guests on the booking, would be less than wanting to use the space for a bridal shower. Message me through the Airbnb app to inquire about the barn. I share a driveway with a neighbor, please don’t block the driveway or go onto his property. His property is marked by a fence line and posted house number. Please be careful backing out of your parking space. His house is to the East of the Airbnb. Be aware that vehicles can be coming from that direction.
