About 1 mile to the Downtown Commons, 3 miles to Cornell and Ithaca College. An easy drive to the various wonderful state parks nearby and Finger Lakes Wine Trail. Microwave, refrigerator, cozy table nook. There is a queen size bed, and a table with chairs, but no other chairs. The price includes the new Ithaca city tax. Traffic noise might disturb some folks The space This is a city location, with a woodsy backyard. there is an area of the back yard with chairs and a table for you to enjoy. there is a creek right next to our place which adds to the natural feeling. We are located on a busy street, convenient to downtown, but with a somewhat challenging driveway, which can be used if you have a small car and aren't a nervous driver. There is also a place to park across the street if you don't mind , and are capable of, walking up a somewhat steep driveway about 50 ft to the entrances. Although we mostly keep this room available for guests, we have a cat who occasionally is in the room when no guests are here, so if you are allergic to cats, this is probably not a good fit Guest access There is a spot with both sun and shade, in the yard with chairs and a little table where you are welcome to relax and enjoy the country feeling even though we are in the city. There is a deck but it became very small after we had the mini split installed, so there isn't enough room for 2 people to sit comfortably Other things to note check in is any time after 4 pm, check out is 11 am
